It's popularity is well known, yet out of season deals on lunches make it worthwhile trying to get a last minute booking, even a week or two in advance. Outside Space: The cottage has the benefit of two outside areas. The south-facing front courtyard garden has raised a wooden decking area with table and sun umbrella, two picnic benches, two carver chairs and a two-burner gas barbeque. The lower area has storage space underneath the decking for bicycles, a seat with a canopy which catches the afternoon sun and a miniature putting green. The back courtyard also catches the afternoon sun and has a rotary dryer and small herb garden with flowering plants in pots

Super apartment overlooking the harbour.

Nicely appointed apartment near but not too near the shops. Great view over the harbour and beach. We could see seals, fishing boats, surfers and general goings on just by looking out of the window. Both bedrooms good. Wardrobes with plenty of hangers. Useful cupboard in the hallway for coats. Large living area/kitchen with confortable settees and decent sized tv with freeview, not that we watched it a great deal. The only problem was the extra sensitive smoke alarm which went off even with the toaster. Probably rather annoying for the neighbours too. Kids (aged 15) could go crabbing in the harbour area with no problem as we could see them from the window. We thought there was a barbeque area from the description but not to be. Any washed clothing had to be dried inside though downstairs dried their wet suits over their balcony.
Owner's Response: Barbeque listing was included in error - and has now been removed, apologies for that. Over-sensitive fire alarm is being investigated. Thanks
