This self catering apartment recently built in 2007 is bright, modern and fully equipped. Situated on the first floor the balcony overlooks one of the two swimming pools (available to all guests) within the complex. The Playa Flamenca commercial centre is just a 10 minute stroll away where you will find numerous bars, restaurants and shops to suit all tastes. Also within easy reach are supermarkets and banks - these also being no more than a 10 minute walk. The beautiful golden beaches of Playa Flamenca are approximately 300m away. The apartment is ideally situated for couples and families who wish to take advantage of the beaches and pools for a relaxing holiday and for the more energetic there are numerous golf courses and a gym within easy reach. An allocated car parking space is available within the secure complex should guests choose to hire a car, although a car is not essential for holidaying at this location.

The property is located between Punta Prima and La Zenia at Alameda del Mar and close to the popular Playa Flamenca beach and Commercial Centre. Playa Flameca itself is set within Orrihuela Costa (not to be confused with the town of Orrihuela itself). Many of the activities such as go-karting and golf are within easy reach. Playa Flamenca caters for a variety of holidays such as relaxing on one of the many blue flag beaches, golfing at one of the five first class 18 hole golf courses and a summer or winter break with friends or family. The Spanish fishing town of Torreveja is a 15 minute drive away and boasts a marina, street entertainment, waterfront market, numerous bars, restaurants, cafes, bistros and a beautiful church square. Ideal for an evening stroll is the lovely palm lined promenade and harbour board-walk.

Additional information about rental rates

  • A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total cost is required to secure the booking. The outstanding balance is payable eight weeks prior to arrival. The rates do not include cleaning charges (approx 45 euros) which are payable locally in Spain on arrival. The apartment is available from 3.00pm on the day of arrival with check out time at 10.00am on the day of departure. We will try to be as flexible as possible if later or earlier times are requested at the time of booking.
  • An airport collection service from Alicante (approximately 40 Euros) or Murcia (approximately 30 Euros) can be arranged and is payable locally on arrival. This charge is per car not per person.
  • There will be a charge for lost/replacement keys which will be payable locally. Any damage or breakages are chargeable and will need to be settled prior to departure.

Notes: The apartment benefits from a fully vented air conditioning system to supply hot and cold air throughout with underfloor heating to both bathrooms for added comfort. Sun, sea and relaxation.: You will be spoilt for choice for beaches to visit. There are 28 beaches along the Costa Blanca coastline - long sandy stretches and hidden coves, many flying the European 'blue flag' for excellence. Two of these 'blue flag' beaches can be found in the Playa Flamenca area at Cala Estaca and Cala Mosca. The temperate and mild year round climate on the Costa Blanca adds to the popularity with day temperatures ranging from 16 deg C during the winter months to 32 deg C at peak season. The area further benefits from 12 hours of sunshine during the summer months. For those lazy days when even a short walk to the beach seems too energetic you can relax around either of the two beautiful pools within the complex and chill out.

Out and about - Activities: With some of the finest golf courses in Europe, the Costa Blanca has an enviable reputation as one of the worlds greatest golfing regions. Three of Spains top courses are on your doorstep - Villa Martin, Las Ramblas and Campoamor with the world famous La Manga Club approximately 40 minutes drive away. Villa Martin is the most established of the three local courses and with its natural contours and well placed bunkers makes it a challenging course for players of all abilities. Torrevieja, or 'Old Tower' as it translates is approximately 8 kilometres away and is well worth a visit - this is a growing and lively summer resort. Torrevieja is the sports enthusiast's dream as it offers a superb selection of sports like sailing, diving, tennis, jet skiing, bowling, football and a gymnasium. There are 4 cities with 1 hours drive - Alicante to the North, Elche to the North West where you can have a great day out at the Rio Safari Park, Murcia to the West and Cartegena to the South.

Eating out and nightlife: The Playa Flamenca Beach Commerical Centre is a 10 minute walk away and is filled with a variety of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes and are ideal for families and couples alike. A five minute taxi ride away is the area of Cabo Roig where you will find a further stretch of bars, restaurants and night clubs again to suit all tastes.

We stayed for 9 nights in July 09, when we were leaving we wished we booked more. I thought my teenage daughter might get bored but there was plenty to do, the beach is great and with a lifeguard on duty very safe. The apartment is in a good location, the commercial centre was less than 10 minutes walk and catered for all food tastes. The supermarket was a few minutes walk away so no problem stocking up on essentials. The apartment was comfortable and well equipped, the people who live on the complex were very friendly and advised on the best places to eat and drink and places to visit. We would recommend this apartment to anybody going to Playa Flamenca.

Thanks Colin - does what it says on the tin!!!!! this was a great apartment would recommend it for families - especially if kids are old enough to watch from the balcony - apartment was very clean and well presented, local shops and supermarkets within 5 minutes walk - commercial centre full of bars and restaurants, only down side i would make is the timings we had to leave apartment for cleaning as new arrivals coming in - our flight was not until later in the evening and if it was not for the kindness of Alan (our pick up driver from the airport) and his lovely wife - we would have been left holding our bags and roasted in the heat - just a little change that the owner may consider changing especially when you have kids, thanks again had a wonderful time,

Perfect location. Lovely neighbours. Great pool. TV did not work the whole time we were there and when we contacted owner for help me said read the instructions - which were in Spanish! We weren't left with a key fob to get in and out - so had to wait up to 20 minutes to be let in and out everytime we wanted to go out! No instructions were left for anything, we had no hot water for two days as the boiler was not plugged in. This is a shame as the location was so good, but I do not think we would return again as our holiday was slightly ruined because of these problems.
Owner's Response: It's always nice to get positive feedback. In this instance unfortunately, as well as the positive items there are also some concerns which need to be addressed for future guests.

1. A set of keys available for all guests include a key fob allowing vehicular access, a key for the pedestrian gate allowing access back into the complex from outside (note no key required to exit) as well as keys to the apartment. However, due to a recent change of locks to the pedestrian access, replacement keys were not made available to me or my most recent guests. This was an oversight and has been addressed for future guests.
2. Instructions - an information sheet which will include some general guidance regarding the complex, keys and appliances (boiler, TV etc) within the apartment will be sent to all future guests.

Lovely holiday apartment

We went as a group of 4 women and found the apartment more than adequate, well equipped and with a lovely view of the garden and pool from the balcony, very peaceful. There were plenty of good bars and restaurants within easy walking distance and the beach was only a short walk away so there really is no need for a car unless you want to explore further afield. Torrevecha was just a short bus ride away and there is a very big market on a Saturday and Sunday again in very easy walking distance. We would certainly go back and wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to our friends and family.

I've just spent a week at this appartment at it was fab, everything you need is there the apartment is lovely clean and in a great location. I went with three other women and we could walk everywhere to the shops, beach and all the restaurants and fantastic bars. loved the legends bar and the sunrise restaurant. my friends and I will return together but will be going back with my family later in the year.
