Built in 2005, the apartment is clean and fully equipped for your holiday with a great terrace for long lunches in the sun. Just off the RN7, the residence is nonetheless quiet with a pool and shared gardens. Plenty of parking in front of the building. A fully equipped kitchen to take advantage of the great Provencal ingredients in the area. Internet and Phone connection provided with free calls to landlines in Europe & N. America, Aus & NZ etc. 32'' LCD TV and DVD player, French Digital TV with some English News channels, Fans. Two bedrooms with double beds and an Ikea sofa in the lounge which can be converted into a double bed if needed. The pool is 10m by 10m and great for a morning swim or cooling off in the heat of the day. Also an exercise bike in case you overindulged at some of the great reasturants within walking distance! Its a perfect apartment for a romantic break for couples or for families with plenty to do in the area.

Great location with everything you need for your holiday an easy drive or walk away. Airport 10 mins drive, Cros-de-Cagnes Railway Station 10 mins walk, Bus Stops for Antibes/ Nice (inc airport) 3 minutes walk. We find the area safe, quiet and very friendly. 3 mins walk to local shops including Bakeries, Wine Shop, Butcher, Newsagent, Bar/ Tabac, Family Pizza Restaurant, Chemist, Spar Mini-mart, Health-food market. 10 mins to the Beach and Port de Cros-de-Cagnes with its fantastic fresh seafood restaurants, also a Casino. The newly renovated seafront is a great boost for the area, fantastic for families with its wide promenade for walking, cycling or roller blading going 4km from St Laurent-du-Var to the racetrack La Hippodrome. 15 mins walk to Port de St Laurent du Var, more nice bars and restaurants, a few night clubs. Cap 3000, the biggest shopping centre in the area, is another 10 mins walk beyond. By Car, Train or Bus Nice, Antibes or Cannes are easy to get to, as is Italy

Notes: The apartment is on the 1st Floor and has lift access. It is suitable for children, we have a toddler ourselves and have protected the terrace so he can't climb up. In the summer the sun is on the terrace in the afternoon making it perfect for long lunches and sunbathing (Rose optional, but advised..). Although the RN7 is 100m away we cannot hear the traffic from the Terrace. Smoking Allowed on the terrace only.

Monaco GP 2009

5 middle aged petrol heads from the west country were in need of somewhere to stay to watch Jenson Button continue his march to victory this year. In previous years we had gone east to Italy and Menton but this year needed to be close to Nice airport.

Ian's apartment proved to be a jewel of a find. Very easy to find, close to the airport shops and amenties and also the regular trains into Nice Monaco and beyond. We had a hire car for trips further afield but everything local was well within reach.

The apartment was very clean, well appointed and easily managed to cope with the five of us. There is a pool which we used each day. The setting for the apartment is ideal; just off the main R7 down a secluded impasse. Kids can play in safety here. There is a good mix of familes and ages and all seem to get on well.

Ian has gone to a lot of trouble to make you feel welcome and you can settle in easily. There are numerous books, novels etc to unwind with on the terrace. He has also gathered a lot of info on local attractions so you are never at a loss for anything to do whatever the waether.

Independently all 5 of us would return with our families and we will all return for sure for the next GP.

Huoneisto sijaitsee pienen päättyvän tien varrella, ei liikenteen melua. Kerrostalon piha-alueelle pääsee vain lukitusta portista ja itse talokin oli hyvin rauhallinen.
Huoneisto oli siisti ja vastasi siitä annettua kuvausta.
Varaus onnistui hienosti; omistaja vastasi tiedusteluuni sähköpostitse samana päivänä ja esittämämme toivomukset otettiin hyvin huomioon. Omistaja oli hyvin auttavainen ja lähetti esim. paikkallis bussin aikataulun etukäteen sähköpostitse. Huoneistolta on erinomaiset yhteydet autolla rantatietä pitkin sekä Cannesin että Nizzan suuntaan. Ravintolat, kaupat, leipomo ja ranta, kaikki kävelyetäisyydellä. Suosittelen.

Very Relaxing

My girlfriend and I just returned and truly could not have had a better time.

The apartment is extremely spacious and we both enjoyed having breakfast and the occasional dinner on the balcony. The area is extremely quiet and extremely relaxing.

It is a 5 minute walk to the beach. The only downpoint being that it is a stoney beach. However, the beach and coastline is extremely beautiful and my girlfriend and I, although we had a car, made great use of the cycle lanes which run all the way to Nice (left) and Antibes (right) - very handy having use of the bikes that come with the apartment!! The cycle lanes may in fact go further but we were too shattered by this time!

One especially great day was when we cycled around 4 miles or so to Marine Land which was absolutely brilliant and, although entrance fees were 70 Euros for the 2 of us, was very much worth it.

Overall, I loved the apartment, loved Cagnes-Sur-Mer and the surrounding towns and would very much like to return one day.
