Bright, stylish 1 bedroom apartment in Nice city centre yet near the sea, on the third floor of an atmospheric building with a lift. A sunny, south-facing terrace with dining furniture, an electric sun awning, lighting and easy chairs - perfect for al fresco living on sunny days and warm evenings! An oasis of peace and quiet at the rear of the building after time at the beach, touring or shopping. The comfortable living area has air conditioning, a couch which converts to an additional bed, a glass dining table with four chairs. Cable TV, video, DVD, CD, internet (incl WiFi). Fully equipped kitchen with ceramic hob, refrigerator with freezer, washing machine with dryer, microwave and conventional ovens. The bedroom has separate air-conditioning. When its shutters are pushed back its window looks out onto the terrace. The area in front of the building is lined with a wide choice of outdoor restaurants and fashionable shops. In the vicinity there are also countless bars and nightclubs

Notes: The lift (elevator) was upgraded in November 2008 to meet the standards that will be required of all lifts (elevators) by French law by 2012. South facing terrace of 10 sq meters. Great for relaxing in deck chairs and for dining out and looking out over the open view. The apartment has just recently been cabled for Internet. access and cable tv.

Airport Terminal/Train Station Pick Up Service: We offer a special pick up service from the NICE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT or NICE SNCF TRAIN STATION to your rental apartment. An English-speaking driver will pick you up by appointment and take you and your luggage directly to the apartment which you have rented. The low cost for this service is 13euros from the SNCF Nice centre train station and 28euros from the airport. So, no more waiting for a non-existent taxi from the train station or lifting and lugging your luggage from the airport to the bus or taxi to be left off several blocks from your apartment. Be sure to enquire about this service when making your booking.

The lift is new, and "speaks" to you! The corridors are having an extensive facelift and the apartment has the addition of Wifi and cable TV. Susan remains quite the nicest and most helpful of managers I've ever had - thanks for everything Susan. All in all - a perfect holiday!

Nice flat but beware August!

This flat is in a great city centre location. The front door opens out onto shops and bars, and the beach is a 5 to 10 minute walk away.
The decor is just as it is presented in the ad and the air con is an important feature that worked well.
The view from the balcony is uninspiring with some derelict warehousing keeping company with the tired backyards of the buildings opposite.
During our stay the small elevator broke down and with most tradesmen on holiday during August this was a big problem. Three flights up with shopping bags in 30 degree heat was a challenge we didn't sign up for!
Otherwise this was good value for money and Nice is definitely a city worth seeing; less pretentious than Cannes but with some fabulous bars and restaurants it is a great city break destination.

I have just returned from a month in this apartment, which was everything I had hoped for. Susan, the Property Manager, was more than helpful - even helping me with shopping as there was a problem with the lift. I would still recomment this apartment as it is bright, sunny and modern with a full cooking stove and a microwave. It is right in the middle of the pedestrian zone, yet very quiet, loads of good restaurants and a supermarket very near. I will back in 2009 - can't wait!

Our stay at this property rental was absolutely wonderful !!!
Outside the front door was literally in the center of all the action. Restaurants, beach, shops,casino,trains and more. The best part was when you wanted to get away from it all, the apartment faced the back of the building where you couldn't hear a sound. It was bright, spacious, clean and had all the comforts of home. I would definantly go back again.
The rental manager Susan was pleasant and very helpful.

Just back from a week in this apartment in Nice. It is excellently located on the main pedestrian street and is surrounded by restaurants and shops. It's only a 2 min walk from the promenade. We rented rollerblades to explore it. The balcony is a sun trap and an oasis of tranquility away from the hub and buzz of the streets outside. The restaurants are beautiful although i suggest walking the 5/7 mins to the old town where better value and quaint restaurants can be found. This apartment is only 15 mins on the bus from the airport which is definitely a bonus after a flight. Apartment as described. Will definitely be recommending it to friends!!
