House in Traditional Spanish town near beach resorts.
Situated in a cosy terrace, within a short walk from the plaza. Medina is a traditional white Spanish hilltop town dating back to pre Roman times, offering a choice of restaurants and bars serving traditional Spanish meals and tapas to the early hours of each morning. The house has 3 bedrooms; 2 double beds and bunk beds in the third, to sleep a total of 6 people. All windows have external blinds to block out the sun so you can enjoy a nice Siesta. The ground floor comprises a kitchen with small breakfast table, cooker, hob, microwave, double sink, fridge and freezer. There is a toilet and basin next to the kitchen. The lounge/dining room with a table to sit 6 and a sofa facing a TV connected to a DVD player, and cabinet with plenty of guide books to peruse. In addition to the 3 bedrooms upstairs, there is a tiled bathroom with a bath/shower, toilet bidet and basin. From the master bedroom you can stand on a small balcony and watch the sunset over Cadiz.

Medina is in the Cadiz area of Andalucia, having miles of unspoilt golden sandy beaches, some within a 25 minute drive, including La Barossa and Cape Trafalgar, both suitable for body boarding, surfing and wind surfing or sunbathing. Inland there are many historical towns to visit such as Arcos, Ronda, Cadiz, Seville and even Gibraltar. Hiking and wildlife spotting in the Alcornocales National Park - the largest cork oak forest in Europe is also close by. If you drive 45 minutes down to Tarifa, it is only a 35 minutes ferry ride to Tangier in Morocco, or go whale watching. Budget carrier Ryan Air fly’s from Stanstead to Jerez, and with a pre-booked car rental, it can take 35 minutes to drive to Medina. Full directions and advice will be given after booking.
