Modern and quiet two bedroom, new bathroom top floor flat in Canonmills: an attractive city centre location near the Water of Leith. Within a short walk of the Botanical Gardens, shopping and restaurants. 15 minutes walk from Princes Street (otherwise reachable within 3 minutes by bus). Ample bus services make all parts of the City, Leith, Ocean Terminal (shopping/Royal Yacht), the Castle and Morningside easily accessible. Internet Broadband (wired and wireless) and a printer/copier is available - bring your own laptop, or let us know in advance if you would like to have one for your stay. BT Vision with movie/pay channels. The property has parking, almost always with free spaces (although this cannot be guaranteed). A Tesco supermarket, pubs and restaurants are within a minute's walk. Note: the property is on the third floor with no elevator: stairs are modern and gentle but not easily accessible for people with reduced mobility, however being top floor it is also very quiet.

Edinburgh is the capital of Scotland, and is full of activities for those who want what the City Centre can offer in terms of culture, history, shopping, fine dining, and nightlife. It is also in the middle of unspoilt nature that can be reached easily in 30 minutes or so from the property: you can explore Arthur's Seat and the other of the seven hills that surround the city, or you can walk on the beaches of Cramond or Tyningham. The Royal Botanical Garden is within a short walk of the property, and the Edinburgh Zoo is within a 15 minute drive. Canonmills is a quiet area on the north side of the City Centre, and in the vicinity you will find a good selection of restaurants such as the excellent 'Ducks le Marche Noir' (reservation 1 or 2 days in advance essential), as well as a large Tesco for the daily essentials.

  • The rates shown include all electricity/heating/hot water charges, cleaning, Internet broadband access etc.
  • Please note that the rates shown are for one week, any day above one week is only 1/10 the weekly rate of the period it falls in.

    For monthly rentals starting after 1 Sep and ending before 20 Dec we will only charge for two weeks, if no cleaning service is required!

    Shorter stays can usually arranged at a daily rate of 1/5th the weekly rate.

    Changeover dates, times and length of stay above one week are completely flexible, subject to availability of course, just let us know your requirements!
  • We can accept UK cheques, bank transfers to our UK (pounds) or French (Euro) bank account, or payments by PayPal.

    Reservations require a £150 deposit which we will be happy to refund (minus any bank charges) for cancellations four weeks (or more) in advance, or otherwise if we manage to fill a cancelled period. The balance for your stay should be paid around four weeks before your arrival.
