Photos and Description of this Los Naufragos holiday apartment Apartment is located in a urbanisation in a residential area of Torrevieja.

The urbanization has a lovely Spanish feel with many Spanish people living here all year round. The apartment is within a gated area and would appeal to both couples looking for a relaxing holiday or for families with children as there is plenty to keep everyone happy within the urbanization or 5 minutes away from the very good and well maintained blue flag beach. There is a car rental shop, scuba-diving hire, tapas, restaurants, cafes, bars, supermarkets and of course a beautiful ocean all within the immediate 300metres/5min walk. Torrevieja is very flat so walking is no problem for the young or old, and the dry salty climate is known to have therapeutic qualities.

The character filled town of Torrevieja with its beautiful harbour and bustling nightlife is a 15 minute walk from the apartment; To reach the town centre is a stroll along a beautiful promenade with lots of seafront restaurants, tapas bars and street cafes. The nearest of three beaches to the apartment is a world class BLUE FLAG beach Los Nau Fragos, it is groomed and maintained every evening and as you can imagine - very clean! There are climbing frames for the young children with water sports and volley ball nets for the older children and adults. The town square is very picturesque with a small church and many street cafes surrounding it to sit at with an afternoon coffee and watch the world go by. The streets off the town square are home to lots of little 'curio' shops to browse in, and Torrevieja town holds one of the largest street markets in Spain every Friday.

  • The master bedroom overlooks the sun-trap balcony which can also be accessed directly through the French doors. Storage consists of a large closeted area and separate chest of drawers. The second bedroom overlooks the typical Spanish courtyard, where the locals enjoy their morning coffee, complete with raised flowerbeds and leads to the large pool. Storage consists of a double wardrobe and bedside locker, both bedrooms enjoy both air-con and central heating. A full size double sofa-bed is also available in the main living area and is designed to comfortably sleep 2 adults. Cots for smaller children can be provided on request. Linen is provided and towels also. Change of linen and apartment clean can be arranged during your stay at an extra cost.

Notes: This apartment is adjacent to a facility that boasts mini-golf, tennis court, air-hockey tables, table-tennis and pool-side restaurant and bar with sun loungers available(payable locally) There is a large super-market within 300mts which has a fresh sea food market daily, alcohol and an extensive range of food and holiday essentials!! This shore-line area also hosts a selection of outdoor restaurants(Mexican, English, Spanish etc) catering from breakfast specials to full dinner menus, with beautiful unspoiled SEA VIEWS!! There are several very traditional Spanish restaurants within a 10min walk from the apartment where a range of very authentic and rustic dishes and wines from this region can be enjoyed. The apartment is within a well maintained complex catering for Spanish locals and tourists.The pool is clean and safe and seldom crowded. Sun chairs and loungers are provided with the apartment which can be brought to poolside or beach for your comfort. BEACH IS 5 MIN WALK!

I brought my family to this apartment on reccommendation from my sister who had holidayed here several times before. It was a great location for us to the beach and the walk to town along the promenade in the evenings was ideal for a pram. The restaurants were brilliant for the children and we always ate where the Spanish were eating, this seems a popular holiday resort for them. The pool was a welcome relief from the sun and safe, the whole area is gated and only accessible to residents.

the flat was very nice indeed, fully furnished, with sheets, towels and everything. it was close to the beach an in a quiet neighbourhood where you don't need to worry about your rented car. interesting trips to sourrounding cities, beaches etc. Castles in the hills, museum etc.. very nice
only thing that bothered me a bit was that the owner did not answer my mail very quickly.
