Large fisherman’s cottage with terrace and stunning sea view in picturesque town
The cottage is situated right on the promenade of Marzamemi, which is an ancient fishing village in the extreme south-east of Sicily. From the big roof terrace, there is an splendid view of the village, its small port and the vividly painted boats. The tradition of all things marine is still very much alive in Marzamemi today. Visitors can enjoy the natural beaches and the vibrancy of an authentic coastal village. The village boasts many restaurants, pizzerias and shops selling delicious local produce. The uniquely located house has a very charming courtyard with an olive tree at the centre. Stairs of stone lead to the roof terrace with its set of deckchairs, covered terrace, barbecue and kitchen sink. The house has three entrances that explains its unique position: from the square of the village, from a side street and from the promenade.
