Self-catering holiday chalet on well run holiday site. It is fully equipped and is double glazed. Suitable for families and couples. Within easy walking distance of beautiful sandy beaches. Close to all amenities including convenience store, swimming pool, fish and chip shop, amusements, pub, club and restaurant. Available for weekly, mid week and weekend breaks.

The chalet is a self catering two bedroom, single story, linked property. It is mainly built of bricks and has large double glazed windows throughout. These face east and west so the property is usually light and bright. Newly fitted secure exterior doors open up into the living room. The fully carpeted living room has a comfortable three seater settee and two armchairs, a TV, coffee table and dining table with four chairs.The chalet has one double and one twin bedroom, both are fully carpeted, each has a large fitted wardrobe. Both of the bedrooms have a fitted wall heaters. One double and two single duvets are provided as are four pillows. Guests will need to provide their own bed linen. The kitchen is well equipped with a free standing cooker, full sized fridge, microwave, toaster and electric kettle. It has crockery, glasses and cutlery for four guests. Pots and pans are also provided. Well behaved pets will be considered for an additional charge. Electricity by £1 coin meter

The chalets are only 5 minutes walk from the beautiful sandy beach and are situated on a quiet family run site. The popular seaside town of Great Yarmouth is six miles south of the chalets. Here there are many attractions to enjoy, including horse, dog and stock car racing, entertaining summer shows including the spectacular Hippodrome Circus, the Pleasure Beach with thrilling rides, Pirates Cove golf and a Sea-life Centre. Great Yarmouth also has a bustling market with a wide variety of stalls. California itself is well located for exploration of the Norfolk Broads, where boats can be rented, fishing can be enjoyed, and peaceful walks taken. The twin Cathedral city of Norwich is a short drive away; it has a castle, many museums and places of historic interest as well as a wide variety of shops and restaurants. Many sporting activities can be enjoyed locally; these include golf, bowling (both indoor and outdoor), horse riding, sailing, fishing, cycling, tennis and swimming.

  • The bathroom is compact but fully functioning. The white suite has been well maintained and has recently had new taps fitted to the bath and basin. Water is heated by an immersion heater in the nearby airing cupboard. The bathroom has a fitted mirror and a small shelf underneath. The bathroom floor has fitted vinyl. The walls are part tiled.

  • The bedrooms are fully carpeted and recently decorated, they are both compact but clean and functional. The beds were new in July 2007 and all mattresses are fitted with washable covers. Each bedroom has a large fitted wardrobe with ample hanging space, coat hangers are provided. Both bedrooms have a fitted mirror, plug socket and lighting above. A small bedside cupboard is also provided in each bedroom. Both bedrooms have a fitted electic wall heater. Privacy is maintained by voile curtaining to the windows.

Sunbeach Holiday Village: Sun Beach and the adjoining California Sands share the use of a swimming pool, general store, amusements and club house. Both sites are well maintained and are family run. The holiday chalets are well maintained and cleaned by the owners. Ample parking is available at the rear of all three chalets. The three chalets are together and are ideally suited for families or friends to holiday together, giving each their own space. Well behaved dogs are welcome on the site and can be accommodated in chalets 143 and 144 for a small additional fee. All dogs must be kept on leads when in the Holiday Village grounds. A beautiful sandy beach is within a short walk from the chalets. The popular holiday town of Great Yarmouth is just 6 miles away, ideal for days out, shopping & entertainment. The Norfolk Broads are within 2 miles and offer the chance to take to the water, enjoy relaxing walks or observe the wildlife. Short breaks are available The owners welcome any other enquiries.

This is the second year we have been to the chalets It has been brillant both times. The beach is a couple of minutes away with local shops, arcades, chip shop within easy reach. Each chalet has everything you would need and more. Will be returning again next year and may even consider taking weekend breaks,

We have just come back from staying a week in this chalet. We would highly reccomend penny's chalets,the chalet was spotless and had everythig we needed for a comfortable stay. Penny was very friendly and helpful. We were just a short walk from duchys bar which was friendly,chinese takeaway was good. A very good base for visiting Hemsby, Gt Yarmouth and the broads. We would highly reccomend this chalet and will defiantly be returning, excellent value for money.

We've just come back from a great 5 days here. The chalet was perfect and had everything that we needed and was in a perfect place for us. We took our dog with us and she enjoyed herself on the beach nearby. Penny was fantastic with us especially when we had to phone her to find out how to switch the hot water on!! We didn't really visit any of the pubs or restaurants nearby as we spent most of the time going to other places. All in all, it was a fantastic place and we would definiately recommend it to others and go back ourselves.
