Self-catering holiday chalet on well run holiday site. It is fully equipped and is double glazed. Suitable for families and couples. Within easy walking distance of beautiful sandy beaches. Close to all amenities including convenience store, swimming pool, fish and chip shop, amusements, pub, club and restaurant. Available for weekly, mid week and weekend breaks.

The chalet is a self catering two bedroom, single story, linked property. It is mainly built of bricks and has large double glazed windows throughout facing east and west so the property is usually light and bright. Has secure exterior door. The carpeted living room has a comfortable three piece suite, TV and dining table with four chairs. The chalet has one double and one twin bedroom, both are carpeted, each has a large fitted wardrobe. Both bedrooms have fitted wall heaters. One double and two single duvets are provided, also four pillows. Linen is not provided. The kitchen is well equipped with a freestanding cooker, full size fridge, microwave, toaster and electric kettle. It has crockery, glasses and cutlery for four guests. Pots and pans are also provided. The bathroom has a full sized bath, basin and toilet. Electricity is provided from a £1 coin meter. A portable heater is provided for additional heating when necessary. The property sleeps four. Ample car parking.

The chalets are only 5 minutes walk from the beautiful sandy beach and are situated on a quiet family run site. The popular seaside town of Great Yarmouth is six miles south of the chalets. Here there are many attractions to enjoy, including horse, dog and stock car racing, entertaining summer shows including the spectacular Hippodrome Circus, the Pleasure Beach with thrilling rides, Pirates Cove golf and a Sea-life Centre. Great Yarmouth also has a bustling market with a wide variety of stalls. California itself is well located for exploration of the Norfolk Broads, where boats can be rented, fishing can be enjoyed, and peaceful walks taken. The twin Cathedral city of Norwich is a short drive away; it has a castle, many museums and places of historic interest as well as a wide variety of shops and restaurants. Many sporting activities can be enjoyed locally; these include golf, bowling (both indoor and outdoor), horse riding, sailing, fishing, cycling, tennis and swimming.

  • The bathroom is compact but fully functioning. The white suite has been well maintained. Water is heated by an immersion heater in the nearby airing cupboard. The bathroom has a fitted mirror and a small shelf beneath. The bathroom floor has fitted vinyl.

A double and two single duvets are provided, as are four pillows. Bedlinen is not provided, guests will need to bring their own. Both the bedrooms have a fitted electric wall heater. Privacy is maintained by voile curtaining to the windows.

Sunbeach Holiday Village: Sun Beach and the adjoining California Sands share the use of a swimming pool, general store, amusements and club house. Both sites are well maintained and are family run. The holiday chalets are well maintained and cleaned by the owners. Ample parking is available at the rear of all three chalets. The three chalets are together and are ideally suited for families or friends to holiday together, giving each their own space. Well behaved dogs are welcome on the site and can be accommodated in chalets 143 and 144 for a small additional fee. All dogs must be kept on leads when in the Holiday Village grounds. A beautiful sandy beach is within a short walk from the chalets. The popular holiday town of Great Yarmouth is just 6 miles away, ideal for days out, shopping & entertainment. The Norfolk Broads are within 2 miles and offer the chance to take to the water, enjoy relaxing walks or observe the wildlife. Short breaks are available The owners welcome any other enquiries.

This was a very clean and well equiped chalet .The beach was only 5 min walk where we spent lots of time and took picnics to.There was plenty to do in the surrounding area.My son loved the Bewilderwoods where we spent most of a day there .We are retuning at the end of the summer for another break.

back home after a lovely weeks stay at this chalet, ample room for the three of us, and all the home from home essentials. an ideal base unit for easy access to anywhere you wish to go. local facilities are basic but adequate and the restaurant big fellas inside the oasis bar is exceptionally yummy and very filling. we had no problems whilst on our stay and would highly recomend this as a ideal holiday home.

We have just returned from a two night stay at Penny's Chalets - 144 and 145. We are two families with small children and a great time was had by all.
The chalets are exactly as described - very comfortable and clean. The location is superb, just 5 min walk to the beach and many places to visit on your doorstep. Our children loved the swings and slide which we could see from the chalet windows. the Dutchy Tavern was also close by for that all important liquid refreshment! The site is very quiet and we found it very relaxing. We did venture out to the Oasis club where the "Gary Glitter" lookalike was great fun - the children has a great time.
All in all a great base for a lovely break, we are already looking to return in August.

Chalet comfortable, well equiped and clean. Close to beach. A good customer service provided by owner. A typical chalet park with amusements, pool and chip shop. Good food at the local pub.

Our holiday to Norfolk

It was an pleasure booking our holiday to Norfolk with the owner Penny, she provided excellent customer service with that personal touch.
The chalet itself was very well maintained with everything we could have wished for, a home from home.
The description was accurate, duvets were provided along with pillows which were all beautifully clean. Enough utensils to cater for the family on a self catering basis.
The chalet was positioned a short stroll away from the beach, of which we spent many a day with a picnic and a glass of wine! Perfect.
I would certainly recommend to friends and family and hope to return there myself.
Very close to all attractions - a very good base to explore from!
