Self-catering holiday chalet on well run holiday site. It is fully equipped and is double glazed. Suitable for families and couples. Within easy walking distance of beautiful sandy beaches. Close to all amenities including convenience store, swimming pool, fish and chip shop, amusements, pub, club and restaurant. Available for weekly, mid week and weekend breaks.

The chalet is a self-catering, two bedroom, single story linked property. It is mainly built of bricks and has large double glazed windows throughout. The windows face east and west so the property is usually light and bright. A new secure exterior door opens into the living room. The carpeted living room has a comfortable three seater settee, two arm chairs, coffee table, TV and dining table with four chairs. The chalet has one double and one twin bedroom, both are fully carpeted and recently decorated, each has a large fitted wardrobe. Both bedrooms have a fitted electric wall heater. An additional portable electric heater is available to use in the living area. One double and two single duvets are provided, as are four pillows. Linen is not provided The kitchen is well equipped with a freestanding cooker, full sized fridge, microwave, toaster and electric kettle. It has crockery, glasses and cutlery for four guests. Pots and pans are also provided. Electricity by £1 coin meter.

The chalets are only 5 minutes walk from the beautiful sandy beach and are situated on a quiet family run site. The popular seaside town of Great Yarmouth is six miles south of the chalets. Here there are many attractions to enjoy, including horse, dog and stock car racing, entertaining summer shows including the spectacular Hippodrome Circus, the Pleasure Beach with thrilling rides, Pirates Cove golf and a Sea-life Centre. Great Yarmouth also has a bustling market with a wide variety of stalls. California itself is well located for exploration of the Norfolk Broads, where boats can be rented, fishing can be enjoyed, and peaceful walks taken. The twin Cathedral city of Norwich is a short drive away; it has a castle, many museums and places of historic interest as well as a wide variety of shops and restaurants. Many sporting activities can be enjoyed locally; these include golf, bowling (both indoor and outdoor), horse riding, sailing, fishing, cycling, tennis and swimming.

  • The bathroom is compact but fully functioning. The white suite has been well maintained. Water is heated by an immersion heater in the nearby airing cupboard. The bathroom has a fitted mirror and a small shelf beneath. The bathroom floor has fitted vinyl and the walls are partly tiled.

The beds were new in July 2007, mattresses all have washable fitted covers. Each bedroom has a large fitted wardrobe with ample hanging space, coat hangers are provided. Both bedrooms have a small bedside cupboard and lighted mirror above. A shaving point is nearby. A double and two single duvets are provided, as are four pillows. Bedlinen is not provided, guests will need to bring their own. Privacy is maintained by voile curtaining to the windows.

Sunbeach Holiday Village: Sun Beach and the adjoining California Sands share the use of a swimming pool, general store, amusements and club house. Both sites are well maintained and are family run. The holiday chalets are well maintained and cleaned by the owners. Ample parking is available at the rear of all three chalets. The three chalets are together and are ideally suited for families or friends to holiday together, giving each their own space. Well behaved dogs are welcome on the site and can be accommodated in chalets 143 and 144 for a small additional fee. All dogs must be kept on leads when in the Holiday Village grounds. A beautiful sandy beach is within a short walk from the chalets. The popular holiday town of Great Yarmouth is just 6 miles away, ideal for days out, shopping & entertainment. The Norfolk Broads are within 2 miles and offer the chance to take to the water, enjoy relaxing walks or observe the wildlife. Short breaks are available The owners welcome any other enquiries.

We thought the chalet had all the things that were needed for a base to discover norfolk, and only a few minutes from the beach.When we were there it was quiet which let us relax as we wanted.
Every thing in the chalet was clean and tidy with a pile of information leaflets that came in handy and the kitchen was samll but perfectly formed. We had a great time!!

Myself & my husband have just come back from a very relaxing short break & stayed in this chalet. It is totally as described, cannot fault it one bit! Will be going again for sure!!

Thanks for a lovely break!! Our little dog (yorkie) loved every minute. Please if you are taking your dog with the owners permission, clean up after your dog. Children are playing around here & it's just not nice to tread in the stuff!

Perfect for dogs

We've just returned from a family visit to Norfolk with two grand children and two dogs. We used both this chalet and the one next door and they're just as described. It's perfect for children and dogs and there's good food at the Wheelstop Diner at the bottom of the road. Booking was very easy and Penny was a great help with local knowledge. I would recommend the property to friends who want a self catering holiday on a chalet site.

this is a lovely and relaxing place to stay we have been to this chalet 3 times and have enjoyed every minute. it is suitable for children as my children have stayed there as well plenty to do. chalets are very clean and well presented can not fault these chalets at all
