Casa Brindi is an excellently equipped house, with lovely views across the wooden hills of North Tuscany. It is within easy reach of the Italian riviera and Le Cinque Terre world heritage site coast. Also near to ski-resorts and the Apuane Alps. An ideal location for a quiet stay in genuine unspoilt Italy. Nearby shops and restaurants provide everything you need for your Italian holiday. Excellent beaches and resorts are within 40 minutes by car, including the Lerici, Portovenere and Forte Di Marmi. The mountains of the Apuane Alps provide opportunities for hiking, pony trekking, or just driving along panoramic mountain passes. This is where Michelangelo got his marble from for the magnificant statues in Florence (only 2 hours by car). Enjoy your meals on the veranda looking at beautiful hills and romantic sunsets over the rolling wooded hills of the Magra Valley. All modern conveniences, including fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms a games room and table tennis table.

Casa Brindi is 1 Hour from Pisa and Genoa airports. The Lunigiana region of Tuscany is brimming with history and for centuries was on the pilgrims route from Canterbury to Rome. Castles and fortified towns abound from the period of the Malaspina Knights and the many museums tell the history of the region. There are lots of restaurants within easy reach of the house, serving the local Lunigiana cuisine. Details of all of this are at the house. Near the Italian Riviera, sandy beaches and world heritage coastline of Le Cinque Terre. Close to the Appenines and the Apuane Alps. Nearest town is Bagnone, a charming hill top Tuscan town with shops and restaurants. Close to the resort towns of Forte Di Marmi, Lerici and Portovenere. Train services to Genoa and links to Portofino. Within easy reach of si-resorts as Cerreto Larghi, Zum Zeri and Prato Spilla. 1 hour from the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa, about 1.5 hours from Lucca and 2.5 hours from Florence.

It is possible to rent the house in the winter but we have to charge £50 a week extra for the very high cost of gas for heating in Italy. Sorry about that, but once you've paid the £50 you can have the heating on as much as you like!!
