A beautiful holiday apartment with luxury furnishings and interior decor, fitted out with all modern conveniences to make your stay relaxing and homely. A mix of modern and traditional features including antique doorways, an open fireplace and Berber rugs. The 5th floor location allows an uninterrupted view of the High Atlas Mountains from the balcony and the neighbourhood offers a wealth of dining and shopping outlets for all budgets. This is a safe residential area at the edge of the French Quarter and there are both Moroccan and European cafes in abundance, as well as the French Institute, Theatre Royal and Colisee Cinema all within a few minutes walk. The heart of the old Medina of Marrakech is easy to find on foot, being about 20 minutes walk to the Place Jemaa el Fna, or just a 5 minute taxi ride.

A perfect stay in Marrakech

Myself and my boyfriend spent a week in the apartment in January. We both loved our time there. The place is very roomy with lovely character and in a very quiet safe area with lots of amenities. The block is residential so you can be sure it will be nice and quiet- the only disturbance being the odd gorgeous smell of cooking wafting from downstairs.

The extra service was fantastic, we were collected from the airport and brought to the door. The place was spotless and a big plate of buns biscuits and fruit was waiting for us (perfect after a long days travelling). The lady Hayat who looks after the apartment visited us and made sure that anything we wanted or any advice that we needed she was able to supply.

The area is in the more modern part of Marrakesh, near a very good supermarket, upstairs from a cafe and very near some lovely restaurants. Hayat will point out where all the best spots are - the street with the Morrocan food is a must and SO CHEAP. The Medina was a bit of a walk away- we liked the stroll, but I dont think it would be for everyone. I think 'walking distance' would definetely depend on the walker (but very safe at any time).

We loved Marrakesh- the shopping, the food in the Medina, the buzz and the apartment- top marks.

I would recommend this lovely apartment

We stayed in the apartment for a week in January 2009. It's really lovely with large light rooms and very comfortably furnished. The bedrooms and the living room opening onto the (narrow) balcony, perfect for a cup of coffee watching the world go by.

Access to the old city is straight down the main road, a little more than 20 mins walk we found, very easy.

The apartment is a lovely oasis, days in the city can be quite hectic! There are cafes and food shops conveniently on the doorstep.

We loved Marrakesh, we took a couple of trips out of the city and would love to go back to see more.

Marrakesh is a feast for the senses, vibrant colours, lovely smells of food, perfume and spices, great food.

The description of this apartment was a complete understatement,the location was perfect,convient for all local amenities, shops supermatkets, bars, night clubs, restaurants and yet walking to the medina and the sook, couldnt have been easier, literally straight up the main road.The apartment itself was great, plenty of room, two large bedrooms with balconies, large sitting room, bright and airy yet sooooo comfortable, two bathrooms and a kitchen. Everything was clean and the apartment really well appointed.Local contact amazing, arranged everything.I definitely want to go back for longer . Sean
