Design, luxury and comfort for this fully equipped air conditioned unit. Designed to host up to 4 persons in a first class and safe typical Parisian environment. Permanent open air market at rue Cler, many stores at rue de Grenelle and rue Saint Dominique. Great variety of restaurants including 3 stars and equally very casual typical local restaurants and brasseries. Everything at walking distance, as well as many main touris attractions such as Eiffel Tower, Champ de Mars, Invalides with Napoleons Tomb, Musée Branly, Antique market 'Village Suisse'. Even the Champs Elysées can be reached in a 15 minutes walk. Metro station at less than 5 minutes to reach other parts of town. Trocadero is also a 15 minutes walk. Very international environment with embassies and ministries.

Additional information about rental rates

  • We request for a deposit of 200 euros to ensure the reservation once you received our written confirmation. There is also a bond of 200 euros we request upon arrival and which is restated after inventory upon departure. The rates are on a basis of an occupancy of 2 persons. For a larger occupancy (3 or 4 guests) we request for a participation of 50 euros for the extra linen and towels. This is a one time fee per stay (not a daily one). Cleaning is included in our rental rates.

  • The bedroom is equipped with a double bed and there can be a cot or extra-single bed added. There is a sleeping sofa in the living room which can sleep two. The sleeping sofa is a Steiner which is the Rolls-Royce of the sleeping sofas. Very easy to unfold, no cushions to remove, no hassle. The mattress is a true one. No back pain or interrupted sleep.

Notes: The only thing to consider is the current absence of elevator. It is going to be put in but in this kind of historical buildings it is a technical challenge that takes time. The 4 flights are very easy though and not high. We call this the sport of the Parisians and after two days everybody gets used to it. We therefore installed a special filtered tab for drinking water so that at least you do not have to carry your bottles of water.

Beautiful place in Paris

We enjoyed staying 3 nights in this wonderful apartment early December 2009.
The flat was everywhere very clean: kitchen, sink area, bed making, floor, everything was perfect. Even some Christmas decorations welcomed and gave us the feeling of coziness in the flat.

Bathroom is very compact, but it has almost everything what we needed. (We would have appreciated it if there were some soap bars or a liquid hand soap in stock.) Jacuzzi shower is very stylish and every morning we were refreshed by plenty of hot water with nice pressured shower. This bathroom locates very next to the bed area and the noise of ventilator might bother at the beginning, but during our stay in the apartment it was no problem for us.

At the end of our short stay, going up 5th floor (European 4th floor) is a bit exhausted, yet the apartment was beautiful and it is definitely worth it to go up. (lower floor, you won't get the view!!) Outside of the apartment, there is a restaurant recommended by Mia, where Mr. and Mrs. Obama had a candle light dinner a month ago and traditional French cuisines can be served, cafes where local people drink coffee, beautiful old style decorated bakery, and only a short walk to the Eiffel tower. For the location, this apartment is perfect place; it is rather hard to find a place which can compete with this apartment.

We highly recommend this apartment to all our friends. When we have a chance to visit Paris next time, we will definitely stay one of Mia’s apartments, next time probably long stay so that we can enjoy cooking in the kitchen and eating at home for experiencing real life in Paris for a while like a Parisien/Parisienne!

Our Home in the 7th

A perfect place for everyone who wants to have a great vacation in Paris, close to everything and never had a hard time looking for a place we wanted to go to. Books and maps are available. Very close to everything, which was perfect for picking up any necessary items. You could really never go wrong renting this apartment, its like our HOME and thats how we treat it. Our son loved to glimpse in the Eiffel tower which you could view it from the window.

Mia the owner is the bestest, very nice and pleasant, we will definitely choose her apt to stay again when we plan to come back to Paris.

My girlfriend and I spent 3 nights here just before Valentine's Day and loved the apartment, it really made the holiday.

The living room/ kitchen area is spacious, and the TV and DVD player were handy after a long day sightseeing. The apartment was well stocked with guide books and maps which we found really useful, and the PC with internet access was a lifesaver.The bedroom was very comfortable, plenty of cupboard space, and the ensuite bathroom suited us perfectly.

Mia, who owns the apartment, couldn't have been more helpful, she was always very prompt in replying to emails and gave us a lovely welcome at the apartment, it was good to know we had someone to contact if we needed anything.

Overall, the apartment is a great place to stay if you are visiting Paris, you can see the Eiffel Tower from the window, and it really is just a 5 minute walk round to the tower, or about 20 minutes over to the Lourve etc. The staircase is 4 floors up to the apartment, but that wasn't really much of a problem.

Will definitely stay here again, we really cannot wait to go back, and I would definitely recommend the apartment to anyone considering a visit to Paris.

Perfect place

We loved this place and the owner is fantastic. Unfortunately we were visiting Paris for a conference so we didn't get much time in the apartment, but it was the perfect bolthole and nice place to relax after work. Everything was finished to a high standard, our only quibble was the very hard bed. The street is very quiet with great patisseries at both ends. The Rue Cler market is nearby (great cheese) and the sparkling Eiffel Tower is visible through the window at night (and yes, the description is totally correct, it is only a 5 min walk away). All our colleagues staying in hotels were jealous! We will definitely be coming back in the future for both work and holiday.

Also try out the Cafe Mars opposite (simply divine cold lasagne starter), friendly service and wonderfully unique. Thanks Mia!

The owner is just as lovely as this apt..not disappointed in anything. I feel it is best for 2 people although the sofa easily converts to bed. Lots of closets and wonderful shower plus great restaurants to walk to. Very safe and charming area with markets and shops. Steps up to apartment really aren't a problem and we are both seniors. I would definitely stay here again. Mia is a lovely human being who took good care of us.
