Characterful spacious Victorian villa just a 3 minute walk from the historic lively little harbour of Yarmouth, providing luxury accommodation for 2 - 10. With 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, large living and dining space, and a courtyard with barbecue, ‘Jubilee’ is a great family base for self catering holidays and all year round breaks. Near to a wide range of beaches, with water sports, sailing and canoeing in the harbour and estuary, and with access to walks and fine bike rides, great activity holidays may be enjoyed here. A range of restaurants and pubs in the town, complementing a well equipped kitchen, means visitors can eat out or at home. Full gas central heating ensures the house is warm all year round, with plentiful hot water. Having 2 living rooms with televisions, Freeview boxes and DVD players, visitors can relax in spacious surroundings. There is a good bus service for visitors without cars, and off road parking for 2 cars. ETC rated 4*

Yarmouth is located on the western side of the Island at the mouth of the Yar estuary, well placed for walks and West Wight beaches. The historic little town is guarded by Yarmouth Castle, built by Henry VIII in 1547 The Harbour attracts international yachts, motor cruisers and veteran boats which arrive for festivals to enjoy the lively range of shops, and places to eat and drink in the town. Wightlink Ferries dock here from Lymington, after a crossing of just under half an hour. The picturesque narrow streets and town square are lined by flower decked shops and pubs; restaurants range from Michelin star quality through family-friendly pubs to cafes with outside tables for celebrating fine weather late into the evening, many meals having an emphasis on local produce and freshly caught fish Boats leave the harbour for fishing trips in the Solent and off the Needles, but for those preferring to stay in touch with shore; the listed wooden pier is a great place to go fishing.

Notes: Often chosen by two families or 3 generations, Jubilee provides plenty of room for large groups. With good public service - ferries and buses, this is an ideal base for those not wishing to bring a car. We can meet at the ferry terminal and help with luggage. Food shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants are a 3 minute walk from the house. The courtyard garden is large and private, equipped with barbecue, table and chairs for outdoor meals. Having full central heating, washing facilities and tumble dryer Jubilee is a good base for walkers and those enjoying outdoor past times all year round. Yarmouth has year- round festivals such as 'Old Gaffers' - a boating festival,- summer carnival , markets and yacht racing programmes as well as a traditional Bonfire night with torchlight procession.
