Detached 5 bedroom villa with private heated swimming pool. Centrally located 10 min walk to village of Carvoeiro with its lovely town, beach and many restaurants. This villa is Ideal for families with its large furnished and covered terraces and mature landscaped gardens. Views of the sea, Carvoeiro and surrounding countryside can be enjoyed from the terraces. The charming landscaped front garden fringing the private driveway creates a lovely first impression as you enter the villa. The private pool will attract guests who want to spend time in the sun surrounded by terraces equipped with sun loungers and tables and chairs. The pool terrace is bordered by a neat lawn and BBQ area. The charming villa has a shaded front veranda which opens into a tastefully furnished lounge with a wood burning stove. The lounge is linked to the dining room which leads to a separate modern well equipped kitchen. 3 of the 5 bedrooms boast their own en-suite, ideal for families. Air conditioned throughout.

The Villa is situated an easy 10-15 minute walk from Carvoeiro, which is one of the prettiest villages in the Algarve. Carvoeiro has a bustling friendly atmosphere with all modern amenities including shops, banks, street cafes, a choice of fine restaurants and bars. Carvoeiro has its own sandy beach by the town square with its many cafes.There are many more fine beaches within easy reach. There are many excellent championship golf courses within a short drive, the pestana resort is less than a 10 min drive and includes 2 championship courses along with the the David Leadbetter golf academy. The Vale do Milho 9 hole par 3 golf course is within 5 minutes drive. Tennis is available at the Rocha Bracva club and at the Carvoeiro tennis Club, both have excellent facilities.The Intermarche superstore is 1km away on the main Lagoa /Carvoeiro road about 20 minutes away is 'Algarve Shopping' at Guia which is a large mall with many well known shops like Zara & Massimo Dutti.

What a wonderful time we had staying in this very desirable villa stayed June 2009 everything was perfect the owner very helpful and the manager too. The villa was very spacious, clean and well equiped, there is the advantage of a daily maid service and the pool is also cleaned regularly. The villa is situated only a short walk from the town center. We are returning and staying august 2010, a credit to the owner

We had a lovely stay at Casa da Tara for 14 days. We were 3 families (6 adults and 4 children at age 10-12 years). An easy walk of 20 minutes brings you to the centre of Carvoeiro and the beach. There are several other beaches within 10 minutes drive which are more spectacular than Carvoeiro. (Albandheiro and Marinha). We dined a lot at a local restaurant "Estrella de Mar", which had good food and friendly service at reasonable prices. We had trouble with one of the bathrooms, but Lloyd, the house manager, did a remarkable good job together with a local plumber. And after 24 hours everything was fixed.
All the bedrooms are spacious. The property is elevated with a good view in 180 degree (At least from the top terrace).
Centre of Carvoeiro is bit too touristic for our taste, but still kind of OK. On the other hand, everyone speaks fairly good English.

I can certainly recommend this property.

We were three families from Swede staying here in the beginning om september. The weather was fantastic and the pool area well used. One common thing for this property - everything is much bigger and nicer than both the images and text tells you. Its just a fantastic place! Carvoeiro is a steep village so a car could be in use, even if there's no problem walking to town. But with small kids and grandparents... We enjoyed our staying at Casa da Tara so much! It was really our home for a week and we didn't want to leave.
