Pollenca is a historic market town, which is held in Main Square on a Sunday. With its winding cobbled streets, beautiful squares with bars and restaurants, you can indulge in traditional as well as modern cuisine. There’s a beautiful church with stairs up to monastery with superb views, the village offers art galleries, shops, unique independent shops offering jewellery to hand made soap. 5 minute drive away you have the tourist resort of Port Pollenca with its sandy beaches, cataramans and sun beds, also Alcudia resort with its water park, and large shopping port. Inca is also close by with the largest weekly market on a Thursday, Pollenca also offers a regular bus service to all areas as well as routes to Inca and Sa Pobla train stations for those who don't wish to drive. Pollenca Town is known as the jewel in the North!
