Mijas Costa holiday apartment: Miraflores Resort

My wife and I have just returned from another lovely holiday in the beautiful Altos apartment, situated on the renowned Miraflores urbanization.

As regular visitors to the Costa del sol we want to be sure of excellent accomodation and the Altos fits the bill perfectly. The spacious apartment is really luxurious, from the matching furniture, super kitchen, and lovely bathrooms through to the to the immaculately maintained gardens.

With the apartment being right next to the Miraflores golf clubhouse and within easy driving distance of numerous courses along the coast it is ideal for golfers, the owners kindly provide a quality set of clubs in the apartment.

To explore all the coast has to offer a car is a must but the Altos is the perfect base to return to, unwind, and enjoy the tranquility of the pool and gardens.

We loved the Pueblo de Mijas, upmarket Marbella, and of course the famous Puerto Banus. The restaurant "Valparaiso" on the Fuengirola -Mijas road, although quite expensive is always a must for us.

We look forward to many more visits.

Very relaxing home from home set in well maintained and private gated community. Apartment benefits from immaculate gardens and pool area both of which are kept very clean and tidy. You really must have a car as there are limited facilities within easy walking distant during the summer months. This is not a down side as the general location of the property makes it an ideal place to use as a base to tour around the costa del sol. I would recommend this property to anyone wishing to have a quiet relaxing break and use the useful local information provided by the owner. Beach at Cabo Pino, Mijas and a day trip to Gibraltar were our favourites.

We also had your Jardin C accommodation ref: 76537 for our party of 8 with age range from 83 to 3.

The property was spacious, clean, beautifully furnished and had all 'mod-cons'. Particularly appreciated the dishwasher and the i-pod docking station.

The sunroom was great for our communal meals where we could watch the kids play in the gardens and at the pool.

The said gardens are beautifully maintained and the two pools were a lovely release from the fantastic weather.

Your information pre-departure was very helpful indeed and we took your advice to visit Mijas, the cable-cars, the waterpark, La Cala, Calahonda, Max's and Marbella. The golf club, on the doorstep was also very handy for a snack!

A car is essential to experience the wider geography however the taxi service is very efficient and reasonably priced in light of current exchange rate.

The resort offers loads of options for young and old. Days spent around the safe and secure pool area, trips out and we had great nights in and out at the various restaurants in the locality.

The Great Gran and the kids simply loved the place and we will be back next year.

Would recommend for all ages and all tastes.
