Regina Complex:
Regina Gardens is a highly acclaimed complex, on the outskirts of Kato Paphos There are four pools on the complex plus a children's pool and ample sunbeds. Close by (100 metres) is a mini markets which is open till late. You do not have to hire a car, but there is a car parking space next to the villa should you wish to hire one. The large gardens which surround the complex are well maintained and offer some shade in the balmy mid summer climate. The nearby bus route goes to the harbour and coral bay.
Facilities nearby:
Nearby harbour of Paphos with water sports, sailing, restaurants serving sea food, and the old Castle, not to mention the Roman Villas site where you can see marvellously preserved mosaics. Tomb of the Kings site 10mins walk away. Wonderful coastal drive to Coral Bay and Agios Georgias fishing harbour and restaurants by the sea. Market in the old town 5 mins drive away. Lots of interesting shops in Paphos.
Ski:
Cyprus is one of the few places that you can sunbathe in the morning and ski in the afternoon. There is skiing and snowboarding from January to March (check weather conditions) on Mount Olympus in the Troodos Mountains, about 2 hours drive from Paphos.
Golf:
Weather is wonderful almost all of the year.The cooler winter months make playing golf an ideal activity, with the weather rarely dropping below 15 degrees. There are several championship 18 hole golf courses within an easy drive, including the Tsada Gold Club, the Secret Valley Golf Club and a superb facility at the Aphrodite Hills Resort. The coursesare approx 15-25 mins drive.
