Superb 150 m2 villa, 10/12 p with a 5mx10m swimming-pool, by the forest and close to the golf course. Garden furniture, barbecue. Underground garage. Vast living-room with bay windows opening on to terrace and swimming-pool, fireplace, entirely equipped American style kitchen. Bedroom 1: bay window onto swimming-pool, 160cm large bed, cupboards, bathroom with SPA bath, WC. Bedroom 2: 160cm bed, cupboards, washroom and WC. Bedroom: 160cm bed, cupboards. Bedroom 4: two 90cm beds, cupboards. Washroom, separate WC. Upstairs: access to mezzanine with two 90cm beds. Bathroom with WC. Aquitaine is probably not the first place that springs to mind when considering a golfing holiday. However, most golfers will not be aware of the rich heritage of golf that exists in this region, with 7 of its 40+ courses dating back to pre-war times, including Pau Golf Club -continental Europe’s first course, built in 1856. The house is located at Moliets, France. Moliets is (by car or bus) 1hour from Biarritz, 1,5 hour from Bordeaux, 30mn from DAX TGV station. This area of France is know for the quality of its wine (proximity of Bordeaux) and food with major contributions to French gastronomy around duck or see food. It is in a residential area in the middle of the famous Landes pine forest, close to the hole nb 2 of a superb golf course

Last minute surprise extra cost for cleaning

We stayed at this property with the Blakesley family the last week of July 08. Superb house, grounds and area of France, with excellent pool. Really surprised and very disappointed to find a villa of this high standard made to accommodate 2 families (9 people) but has ONLY 2 sunbeds - unbelievable!

Also was very very disappointed with the surprise last minute non-contracted cleaning cost that had not even been mentioned during the booking process. I believe that as we negotiated a further discount to the normal rental cost this was an unscrupulous and underhand way of recovering some of the money - and out of contract! - for this reason and this reason alone I will definitely NOT recommend your villa to anyone else!!!!
Owner's Response: It is amazing that the one who made one of the best bargain of the summer, is the only one complaining.... Especially about a cleaning cost (substancially lower than his discount!) for which we sent a notice in advance and that was asked to everybody.
