This charming first floor apartment is on Place Francois Spoerry in Port Grimaud Sud. There are views over the traditional square on one side and a spacious balcony overlooking canals and moored boats on the other. The secluded sandy beach is within easy walking distance. It is ideal for 1-4 four people having two double bedrooms, a modern shower room and generous sitting/dining room. Sliding, picture windows open on to the attractive balcony. The kitchenette is well equipped with electric oven, washing machine, fridge and all necessary kitchen utensils. There is cable TV, CD and DVD player. Port Grimaud Sud is a combination of French village life in a peaceful, Venetian style resort. It has excellent restaurants, bars, tabac and patisserie just a short walk from the terrace. Regular ferries run from Port Grimaud to the delights of Ste Maxime and St Tropez. There is also a local market twice a week with adjacent tennis courts and a secure, private carport.

Port Grimaud is a visionary, Provencal version of Venice with apartments and villas overlooking canals and moorings in the gulf of St Tropez. Not one of its two thousand houses is the same - not in colour, design or aspect. Created by French architect, Francois Spoerry, construction began in 1966 and was completed in the early 1980's. There are two traditional squares with weekly markets, supplying French fare and evening games of boules under the trees. Small shops, restaurants, cafes and bars are all contained within village life as are the two beaches, reached by foot or by car. St. Tropez and St Maxime are a short boat ride from the centre. Shopping is also available at a large nearby supermarket. This is a wine producing area and there are many local vineyards selling direct. Neighbouring Grimaud and other medieval towns such as Gassin and Ramateulle perch on the surrounding hills. This is the historic and beautiful 'Cite Lacustre' of the Cote d'Azur.

Additional information about rental rates

  • RENTAL CONDITIONS: A 20% deposit of the total rental fee secures the apartment. The total rental must be paid at least one month in advance of arrival together with an additional 20% security deposit in case of damage. This further 20% will be returned after the property has been checked by our agent. The fees are to be paid in Euros to our French bank account. The rental includes charges for gas, electricity, water and cleaning. The apartment will be cleaned after departure and the cost of this is also included.
  • OTHER INFORMATION: Linen and towels are not provided, although duvets and pillows are supplied. Linen can be hired locally on the internet or brought with you. If you hire linen it can be delivered to our agents in the Square (see below) and they will make sure it is in the apartment when you arrive. Cleaning will be done after departure. Although you book with us we have arranged for our friendly local agent in Place Francois Spoerry to provide the front door key and a parking permit, and they can be called in case of any problems. This service is included ion the rental rates. The Residents' Association (ASL) who are responsible for property in Port Grimaud 2 and overall security and the 'Guardian' are also located in the Square.
  • TIMING OF ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE: Tenants should arrive after 4 pm on the Saturday of arrival, and depart before 10am on the Saturday of departure. The keys and parking permit should be returned to the Agent, who will arrange cleaning and will check the property.

Notes: The balcony has two fold-away chairs and a table plus four plastic folding beach chairs. Bed linen and towels can be hired online in advance and delivered to the apartment for arrival. Alternatively you can bring your own. You will need linen for two standard double beds and 4 standard square French-style pillows. Pillows and duvets are provided. The apartment is cleaned on departure and this is included in the overall price. The apartment must therefore be vacated by 10am on the final Saturday. Keys and a parking permit are provided on arrival by our agent in the Square.

What a fabulous place to stay!

My family and I have just returned from two fantastic weeks in Port Grimaud staying in this beautiful apartment. The whole place was just perfect, from the location (so beautiful, just over the square with all the lovely restaurants), to the apartment itself. Absolutely immaculate and the bathroom was just fab! The kitchen was so well equipped as well. Although with all the wonderful restaurants close by, we didn't get to use it much!
Alison and Nick were a pleasure to deal with, so helpful and friendly, they really made the whole holiday such a lovely experience, not impersonal at all. We were made to feel like we were staying in a friends apartment in fact! All in all such a great holiday, and really hope we can make it again next year. Thank you so much again!

Fabulous Family Holiday in Port Grimaud

We had a thoroughly enjoyable family holiday in Port Grimaud at this delightful apartment. It offers all the home luxuries in a peaceful square, with wonderful views over the marina. Breakfast on the balcony, watching the sun rise each morning, was one of many highlights. The square itself had a happy buzz, with lovely restaurants, and an excellent boulangerie/cafe opposite. Received very helpful customer service from the owners.Would highly recommend this apartment!

the owners & managing agents were lovely, quick to respond and very helpful. the apartment is exactly as described, in fact, the pictures probably don't do it justice. It was a beautiful location, with a few restaurants below in the main square, plus tabac and patisserie all on your doorstep. For the price, I would have no hesitation in recommending it - perfect for a couple. Although I took my mother and we both enjoyed it equally. Although on first impressions, it seems away from the Main Square, it was actually a much nicer location and only 10 mins walk to the main square/beach when you wanted it. I will definitely be back again. Nicola & Mum
