Casa Quadri is in the family location of Praia Verde, one that would be hard to beat. 35 minutes easy drive from Faro International Airport or just over an hours motorway drive to Seville, this Eastern area of the Algarve is far less commercialised than its western counter-part, but with similar facilities. 5 Golf courses (including a Jack Nicklaus Signature Course) all within a quarter of an hour from the house and Tavira, the prettiest town on the Algarve just 20mins drive. The house is a prime position; 2mins walk to a magnificent, safe blue-flagged beach and a superb fish restaurant. The large infinity pool and further restaurants also just across the way. Casa Quadri is very spacious - Huge living/dining room with outdoor patio, kitchen with all facilities, 3 double bedrooms (Master en-suite), 3 further bath/shower rooms and enormous sun-terrace with built in barbeque. Also an additional upper roof terrace for private sun-bathing with glorious views into Spain!

Praia Verde is ideally located for all interest groups. Superb Golf courses reasonably priced, and many other sports accessible. For nature lovers, the famous 'Rio Formosa' with it's rare bird life is 10mins away. The Spanish boarder is only 10mins away and a day trip to Seville is a real bonus. For the more adventurous, the world heritage town of Evora is just under 2hours. A trip up the River Guadiana to the old town of Alcoutim is a real pleasure. Fun loving Monte Gordo with its clubs, bars and international casino is 10mins drive or if you prefer a healthy 30mins walk along the beach.

Golf: There are 5 magnificent golf courses within a 15min drive of Casa Quadri. The premier course is the recently opened Jack Nicklaus at Monte Rei with fairways like Wilton carpets! My favourite, however, is Quinta da Ria which runs parallel to the blue ocean. The dutch owned Castro Marim is hilly with magnificent views and is a worthwhile experience even with a golf cart! And we love the restaurant in a huge Moroccan-Style club house. This is a great golfing area, in my opinion, more varied and more interesting than the over priced Western Algarve and we have found that Feb - April are the ideal months because it's pleasantly warm rather than too hot during the day. After your game, Casa Quadri at Praia Verde is the perfect place to relax and unwind...

fantastic home that really lived up to the description. Clean, well equipped & well maintained on nice complex. The owner was extremely helpful & gave us plenty of advice prior to going (things to do, places to go etc)
You probably need a car to get the best from the area, lots of good places to visit, especially Tavira.
We went at easter so the complex & beach were quiet, although over the bank holiday it did get busier.
We had a lovely week & would definitely recommend it!
