It has a beautiful garden, private swimming pool, patio & BBQ, making it perfect for al-fresco dining. There is a larger communal swimming pool at the rear of the garden. On the ground floor there is a twin bedroom with a private patio and a shower-room, a well-equipped, fully-fitted kitchen & a large open-plan lounge/dining room. There is satellite TV with all major English & European channels. Upstairs there is a master double bedroom with en-suite bathroom & a further twin bedroom with en-suite shower-room. Guests at the villa can use a communal pool that is yards away from the end of the garden & there is a further, much larger pool available at the main complex where a bar has snacks & drinks available in the summer. There is also a children's pool & 2 tennis courts. There is plenty of outdoor furniture available at all levels & there are 2 outside BBQs, one on the roof terrace, from where one can see the Atlantic Ocean & one in the garden by the pool-thus making it ideal for 'al fresco' dining. The kitchen has a combined washing-machine & dryer,dishwasher, microwave, as well as a normal oven/cooker. There is a fireplace & a 32' LCD HD TV, a DVD & CD players.

Great Family Vacation!

My family and I stayed at this Villa last August for a week. We had a really great vacation with loads to do to satisfy a very diverse group. The kids had a blast in both pools and learnt to sail at the water Sports Center (with certificates and everything). I loved the shopping and restraunts and the fact that it was so easy to get around everywhere. The Villa was amazing and had everything we could hope for, even internet! We hope to go back again sometime!

Short Break In September

We stayed at the Villa for a four night break in September and had a fabulous time. We were 5 ladies on a golfing trip and so the 2 X twins and 1 double were ideal. Each bedroom has its own bathroom , 2 ensuite upstairs rooms and the twin downstairs had its own bathroom next to the bedroom. The villa was spotlessly clean and nicely decorated and there was everything provided for self catering.

The outside areas are excellent and we spent a lot of time alfresco dining late into the evening and it was lovely. There is a large communal pool at the back of the house and this is ideal for swimming or for those with children but they would need to be supervised because although there is a childrens pool area , the main pool is deep.

The area was very quiet and peaceful and the Quinto do Lago development is very prestigious with lovely and huge villas dotted around the golf courses

A car is recommended because it a drive to anywhere apart from a few local restaurants. However it is easy to find your way around the complex and there are several restaurants dotted around a very nice central square where there is a good supermarket. The beach is accessible next to the Quinta Hotel and the sunset is spectacular. It is a short drive to restaurants in the Vale de Lobo complex.

The golf courses are excellent although expensive e.g. euro50 for a buggy. However the courses are well groomed and the facilities are excellent.

Stayed at this villa for one week with freinds, the house was very nice very clean and well maintained,
the area was lovely very respectable.
However i would say that a car is absolutely essential, there are no shops pubs or clubs in the area, there are only two resturaunts and a small snack bar, the nearest supermarket is a good 25-30 mintutes walk, carrying the bags back in the heat is not pleasant, the owner did offer to arrange a car for us but we declined, when we did try to arrange a car for ourselves we discovered they didnot have anymore available as they did not expect to have so many tourists visiting this year, we had to pre book a taxi one day in advance as they were also short on demand,
I would recommend the villa and the area but only with a pre booked car.
