Ideally located for visiting Provence, the Ardèche, the Cévennes or taking part in the festival of Avigon, this Le Bosquet farmhouse is in the mediaeval village of La Capelle et Masmolène. Situated 10 km from Uzès and 30 km from Nîmes and Avignon, this authentic Cèvenol farmhouse of 220 m2 is in a scenic enclosed Mediterranean park of 8,300 m2 with pool (8.40 m x 4.20 m). For 8 persons, with 4 spacious bedrooms with double beds, 3 bathrooms, huge living room with fireplace, home cinema, 104 cm plasma screen, Canal Sat, DVD, Hi-Fi, adsl. The kitchen is made up of three linked vaulted stone rooms giving on to a covered terrace of 25 m2 facing south on to a large internal courtyard with a really cosy relaxation corner. With ancient and modern charms, this calm, comfortable location is ideal for lazy, sporty or cultural holidays for families or friends.

La Capelle et Masmolène is a little medieval village in the département du Gard, at the crossroads of lots of walker’s pathways on the tourist route of Côtes du Rhône. It’s about 12 km from the town of Uzès, reputed to have been the first duchy of France, rich in history and well known for Provencal markets and musical concerts. It takes less than quarter of an hour to get to the lovely Pont du Gard, the villages of Potiers, Saint Quentin la Poterie and for beginners bathing or canoeing in the village of Collias on the Gardon. Avignon and its famous theatre festival are 30 km away; Orange and its lyrical art festival 35 km. Nîmes, with its arenas and airport are about 40 km away. Beaches are less than an hour’s distance.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Prices indicated are Saturday to Saturday per week. Arrivals after 4 pm, departures before 10 am. Included in the price are bed linen (cover sheet, flat sheet and pillow case), a bath towel and a wash glove per person, as well as dish cloths. Hot water and electricity are also included. Beach and pool towels are not provided. Regular maintenance of pool and garden is provided and included in rent.
  • Each rent includes 4 hours of cleaning after departure. Any necessary extra hours are charged as described in the rental contract and deducted from the breakages deposit.
    Phone, fax and email reservations are confirmed when 40% of the price is received in our account if possible in euro s by cheque or via bank wire or transfer. In the case of late cancellation it will not be refunded so please take out cancellation insurance. Breakages deposit of 1000 Euros is payable to the landlord on arrival. This amount will be returned if the property is left clean, in good order and with no damage.

Notes: The pool has access steps and is 1m 20 deep. There is no gate but there is an alarm system to detect falls. Stairs leading to bedrooms and balcony are difficult for small children as there is no ramp. Therefore we do not accept children less than 7 years.
