The Beach and Complex:
The pebbled beach is located within metres of the complex gates and offers plenty of space and protection from the wind, as the beach area is set in a picturesque bay.
Also within the complex grounds, there is a choice of bars/restaurants, children’s play area, 5 a side football pitch and a boules area.
The complex offers you the use of a beautiful communal swimming pool (1st June to 30th Sept). The pool is probably the largest in the locality. It has a huge swimming area and a children’s pool. There are showers, toilets and a large sunbathing area. A lifeguard is always on duty. Tapas, snacks and drinks are available from the poolside bar. A pool pass restricts entry exclusively to residents and guests of Alkabir, so the pool area is rarely crowded. There is a charge of 60 cents per day for entry. The pool was proving too popular with the locals of Campello so the pass and nominal charge was introduced.
