Its lovely yellow stone staircase leads to all 4 bright, functional, individual gites. They are pleasant and charming, but also functional and welcoming. They are in a great location right in the centre of Languedoc Roussillon, Hérault, and you can explore the region, the impressive surroundings and the varied scenery from this authentic house. One of the nicest features is the cosy winter room in this character house... It’s a good size and well furnished with lots of light because of its windows and dimensions. This is the smallest gite in the farmhouse which we call the ‘caga nis’ but its also the most functional and has everything except the washing machine. There are beautiful floors and decor. A good balance of facilities and price, a nice place to relax between pleasant walks. Just right for dynamic globe-trotters or for a flight to the authentic south of France.

Canta Cuques farmhouse is situated in the heart of Languedoc Roussillon and Hérault, hardly 9 km from the seaside and the Thau lake. So you get all coastal activities and events as well as the peace and variety of the inland scenery. That’s why our commune has always been a crossroads to Heraklea, Domitienne pathway (we call it 'Queen Juliette road'), Saint Jacques road, Canal du Midi, railway and motorway! (Napoléon is supposed to have stayed at this farmhouse ) Some way, on the crossroads of every kind of civilisation. Florensac, with its asymmetrical 12th century clock in the centre, surrounded by sea, vineyards and scrubland, has kept its southerner life style alive. We look foward to sharing it, with the accent of course....
