Overall a good holiday location. Good layout of the apartment although access to the main bathroom from the third bedroom is through the dining area. Apartment enjoys a good outlook overlooking local small holders & it was interesting to see local cultural aspects. The property was clean and well maintained however, if the electric goes off - you need to locate the fuse box in the entrance hall & check the trip switch - we wouldn't have known this but because we had stayed in another similar property in Spain we knew what action to take. We found a number of good restaurants in the old town area in Malgrat and although the sea front promenade is a little "Blackpoolish" in character this did not detract from our holiday experience. If you hire a car be aware that parking is a bit of problem however there was a never a time when we didn't find a suitable car parking spot. There is a small supermarket within a 5 minute walk of the apartment which sold freshly baked baguettes & there is a games/park area within 10 minutes walk which is suitable for kids of all ages. The local weekly market is also worth a visit.
The apartment offers a good location for visiting other attractions & Barcelona is easily reached by train. There are plenty of beaches to visit although these aren't really within walking distance particularly if you have young children or elderly relatives.

Owner's Response: The nearest beach is about 200 mts .I will make any future visitors aware of how to fix the electric if it fails(this is a feature of Spain especially during a storm) The owners are contactable at all times if there is a problem
