Tastefully & fully furnished self catering lodge set on a hill in North East Fife with superb views over the surrounding countryside. While the location is peaceful and relaxing, it is not far from major routes to St Andrews, Perth, Dundee and Edinburgh. The lodge has 2 bedrooms - one king-size and one twin room - and a guest bed available which makes it ideal for families. The lodge features an open plan kitchen, dining and living room ensuring a bright, spacious feel. The lodge benefits from under floor central heating and is well insulated therefore being cold is never a worry. There is a veranda along the front with a table, chairs, leading to the luxurious hot tub on the decking. The bathroom contains both a shower and a bath. The City of Dundee is only 13 miles north over the Tay Bridge, while St Andrews, the 'Home of Golf' is 15 miles east with its beaches, gardens, museums and of course, golf. The Fair City of Perth is 17 miles away, and Edinburgh approximately 1 hours drive

Balmeadowside Lodges, excellent accomodation

This is a superb property, very well kitted out, spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need. The pictures on this web site do not do it justice, it is far more spacious than it appears. Large living area with two spacious bed rooms. We went for one of the lodges equipped with a Hot Tub which was perfect after a day touring.

All in all a beautiful property situated on a working farm, very relaxing and ideally situated with easy access to St Andrews, Perth and Dundee.

A very relaxing short break, I would have no hesitation in recommending this property.

These lodges are perfect in every way, very clean and spacious and good value for money. Good short walks planned out and longer ones if you want. Set in peaceful surroundings, you couldn't ask for more. Many Thanks to Donna for her helpful information on the surrounding area. Hope to visit again in near future.

My Scottish holiday

The lodge was spacious and comfortable and the kitchen well equipped; it was situated in a lovely country setting within easy reach of Dundee, Perth and St Andrews.

My husband and I are both wheelchair users and although the lodge was very accesible ie. no steps to negotiate and room to move about; I would have to say that the bathroom/toilet are only accessible if you are capable of some mobility.
This was a disapointment considering the lodges are fairly new.
However; as we had carers to assist us with the small obstacles we did enjoy our weeks stay in Scotland.

The week we had here was the most relaxing holiday we had ever had. We felt at home immediately and settled in quickly.
The lodges are clean, modern and well equiped.
This property is centrally placed for many places of interest. Dundee, St Andrews and Perth are all within easy reach.
We will definitely be going back and would recommend this place to our friends.
