A perfect romantic retreat for couples especially celebrating a special occaision. Lavender Cottage & Mandarin Cottage - Both cottage are for 2 persons. Semi detached stone cottages with a shared pool and enclosed garden. Each cottage offers spacious living accommodation with 1 master bedroom (with 4 poster bed) + ensuite bathroom and a Jacuzzi bath for an extra special touch of elegance and romance. All have cosy living rooms and well equipped kitchens. Our cottages are comfortable and tastefully furnished and provide extra modern touches such as Satellite TV, CD/DVD player, iPod adapter plus wood burning stove for the cooler months, air-conditioning in bedrooms, washing machine + microwave. The interior of the cottage is all open plan. The bedroom area has a locally crafted cast iron queen size bed and is seperated from the living room. The cosy living area has a comfortable sofa, flat screen TV, DVD/CD player for your enjoyment plus a wood burning stove for the cooler months. The small fitted kitchen overlooks the pretty terrace, pool and gardens and there is an additional utility room that contains the washing machine, microwave, toaster, fridge, ironing board and iron. There is also a separate shower room and WC. The beauty of this cottage is the outside area which is completely enclosed and totally private with private pool and well established picturesque garden. The pool has been designed so that it offeres gentle shelving roman steps and all of our guest enjoy the utter peace and tranquility our cottage offers. There are sunbeds to relax by the pool and a BBQ for your enjoyment. All in all a beautiful oasis in rural crete.

• Rates include once per week cleaning. Discounts available if no cleaning required for weekly rentals. Cottages are made clean and ready for arrival and additional sheets and towels will be provided for own changeover. Please enquire at time of booking.
  
• We can accept payment in UK Sterling calculated at the exchange rate of the day or euros. Credit card payments are also accepted and carry an additional 2% commission charge.

We felt extremely privileged to be the first occupants of Mandarin Cottage. You have created a truly wonderful, relaxing retreat. We loved all the attention to detail and the manner in while you have created a mini Venetian Mansion in which a couple can enjoy modern luxuries within a period property. We adored our spacious airy bedroom looking out over mountain views from the four poster bed. It is proving difficult to leave “our” Mandarin Cottage home. We hope to return in later Winter – early Spring to experience another facet of this rural idyll. Thank you – John and Victoria. - Wales Crete has so much to offer – not that we saw much of it as it was so lovely to just be here. It has been the perfect place to relax and unwind.
