The open plan living room and dining area has a modern fully fitted kitchen on the first floor. The elegant timber staircase rises to the second floor, which consists of 2 bedrooms with balconies overlooking the pine woodland and surrounding areas, fitted wardrobes and two bathrooms. The chalet has been furnished to the highest standards. There are TV & DVD, wireless internet in the chalet, 24 hour reception parking, with restaurant, outside swimming pool and a Jacuzzi adjacent to the chalet. The chalet is situated just 2.5 Km away from the main ski slopes. There is a restaurant situated within a stone-throw away from the chalet and are well reputed for their exquisite culinary skills. The reception lodge will be on hand at all times to assist in any queries or personal needs that you may have.

Notes to the rental rates

• £100.00 security deposits against breakages/ damage at time of booking. This is refundable after your stay subject to no damages occurring during your stay. Week-end rates apply Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.The total amount for each chalet rental is payable upon booking. Bank transfere is recommended, although cheques are accepted in line with the standard clearance of 5 working days.Transfers from Plovdiv or Sofia airport can be arranged of approx. cost of £15 - £20. p.p
  Cancellations:- Refunds of 50% of the total amount paid will be given if notification is made no later than 9 weeks prior to departure. We cannot offer refunds within 9 weeks of departure.
  
• Should Breakfast and/ or Evening meals be required from the famous 'Forest Nook 2 ' Restaurant, please state this at time of booking. Prices can be given at this time, which would be an additional charge to the rental rates.

Accommodation and Facilities for the chalet in Bulgaria

Perelik Project.

A grand project called Perelik plans to connect the Smolyan lakes in the town of Smolyan (20 min. drive from Pamporovo) to the Rodopi Mountains which will make the largest ski area in Bulgaria. 650 million Euro is set aside to inject into this project. This will open an extra 85 Kilometers of new ski runs. Also a main motorway construction is underway from Smolyan to nearby Greece costal region. This journey will only be a 45 minutes drive by car.

How to get to Pomporovo

The nearest airport is Plovdiv. 85 kilometres away from Forest Nook Chalets. Balkan airlines fly from all major airlines from Dec - end March. Other useful websites are. Easyjet, Bulgaria ski, Fly B., These airlines fly from major airports to Sofia and can be as low as £50.00 return. All guests are picked up and returned to the airport by chauffeur from Forest Nook 2 Resort (approx. charge 20- 30 Euros) Should more than one chalet be required, this can be arranged on the same row next door to each other. Just ask for details

Horse riding

Just a ten minute drive from Forest Nook, there is a trekking centre which accommodates both novice and experienced riders. You can ride from just one hour into the beautiful forestry or spend one to three days riding in the breathtaking Rhodopi Mountains. Your friendly riding guide 'Stefan' will organise your rides according to your needs and experience. You will be picked up and taken back to the chalet by a driver. Prices are currently very reasonable and competitive.
