This luxury two bed accommodation can sleep up to 6 persons. It is situated in the beautiful pine forest of Pamporovo. The chalet has a wood burning fire as well as central heating throughout. The open plan living room and dining area has a modern fully fitted kitchen on the first floor. The elegant timber staircase rises to the second floor, which consists of 2 bedrooms with balconies overlooking the pine woodland and surrounding areas, fitted wardrobes and two bathrooms. The chalet has been furnished to the highest standards. There are TV & DVD, wireless internet in the chalet, 24 hour reception parking, with restaurant, outside swimming pool and a Jacuzzi adjacent to the chalet. The chalet is situated just 2.5 Km away from the main ski slopes. There is a restaurant situated within a stone-throw away from the chalet and are well reputed for their exquisite culinary skills. The reception lodge will be on hand at all times to assist in any queries or personal needs that you may have.

Pomporovo is proud to be labelled as ' The Jewel in the Crown' of Bulgarian ski resorts. It is the sunniest and most south ski mountain resort in Bulgaria. Surrounded by clean and unspoiled nature, pine woods and beautiful mountain scenery, perfect for both winter and summer vacations. The winter snow is extremely good, with an average of 1.6 M of snow and altitude of 1650M and an average winter temp of minus 3 degrees. The skiing season is mid December to mid April. Hire of ski equipment, passes and tuition are extremely cheap compared to the rest of Europe’s ski resorts. All instructors speak excellent English and the main ski slopes are just 2.5 KM away from the chalets, with a shuttle bus operating every half hour to and from the main ski centre and lifts to 20 slopes totalling 25 km. Pomporovo has wonderful après-ski with best value prices and the bars and restaurants offer many live entertainments and a wide variety of meals to suit all tastes.

  • £100.00 security deposits against breakages/ damage at time of booking. This is refundable after your stay subject to no damages occurring during your stay. Week-end rates apply Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.The total amount for each chalet rental is payable upon booking. Bank transfere is recommended, although cheques are accepted in line with the standard clearance of 5 working days.Transfers from Plovdiv or Sofia airport can be arranged of approx. cost of £15 - £20. p.p
    Cancellations:- Refunds of 50% of the total amount paid will be given if notification is made no later than 9 weeks prior to departure. We cannot offer refunds within 9 weeks of departure.
  • Should Breakfast and/ or Evening meals be required from the famous 'Forest Nook 2 ' Restaurant, please state this at time of booking. Prices can be given at this time, which would be an additional charge to the rental rates.

  • There are 2 bedrooms upstairs. One bedroom has a double bed and one bedroom has 2 twin beds. From the upstairs verandas are panoramic views of the pine mountains surroundings. Downstairs is a large sofa bed which would suit up to 2 children comfortably or one adult. All bedding is available in the chalet with plenty of cupboard spaces for clothes and ski wear. The landing is very spacious and has ample room for hanging of thick coats and boots. Cots and high chairs for small infants are available on request.

Notes: Near to the chalet there is a restaurant, spa and fitness centre. There is also an outdoor swimming pool and heated Jacuzzi. The new apartment that is currently in the process of completion is approx. 20 yards away and will offer an indoor pool, sauna, steam bath, massage hall and gym centre. Should you prefer massage treatments can be arranged within the comfort of your chalet. An ironing service can be arranged on request. Perelik Project.: A grand project called Perelik plans to connect the Smolyan lakes in the town of Smolyan (20 min. drive from Pamporovo) to the Rodopi Mountains which will make the largest ski area in Bulgaria. 650 million Euro is set aside to inject into this project. This will open an extra 85 Kilometers of new ski runs. Also a main motorway construction is underway from Smolyan to nearby Greece costal region. This journey will only be a 45 minutes drive by car.

How to get to Pomporovo: The nearest airport is Plovdiv. 85 kilometres away from Forest Nook Chalets. Balkan airlines fly from all major airlines from Dec - end March. Other useful websites are. Easyjet, Bulgaria ski, Fly B., These airlines fly from major airports to Sofia and can be as low as £50.00 return. All guests are picked up and returned to the airport by chauffeur from Forest Nook 2 Resort (approx. charge 20- 30 Euros) Should more than one chalet be required, this can be arranged on the same row next door to each other. Just ask for details

Horse riding: Just a ten minute drive from Forest Nook, there is a trekking centre which accommodates both novice and experienced riders. You can ride from just one hour into the beautiful forestry or spend one to three days riding in the breathtaking Rhodopi Mountains. Your friendly riding guide 'Stefan' will organise your rides according to your needs and experience. You will be picked up and taken back to the chalet by a driver. Prices are currently very reasonable and competitive.

Ski: The skiing in Pomporovo is ideal for the beginner/ intermediate or indeed the brave-heart experienced. Both the young and not-so- young will have a wonderful experience and a very enjoyable holiday. Lessons are extreemly inexpensive and the tutors are the most friendly that we have met. For those 'non- skiers', there are lots and lots of alternative activities, to include, horse riding, mountain walks, tabogganing, husky rides, pampering at the adjoining sauna suite, and lots more. Group bookings are catered for at reduced prices.New 6 man ski lift has just opened Jan 2009. NEWS!!! 180 New snow cannons have been installed and commissioned for ski (2009/2010) season.
