For the latest tourist Information, 'Visit Anglesey' is very informative and also the Tourist Information Centres Strolling on the beach not enough for you? For water sports try Buckys, for golfing there is Anglesey Golf Club, a short drive away!, visit the race track, check out their website for events and fixtures. Close by is RAF Valley, watch the fighters landing and taking off!! Holyhead is just a short drive away, why not take in a day trip to Dublin on the super fast ferry to Dun Laoghaire then the DART train into Dublin?? Back over the Menai Straits in to North Wales, there are numerous castles to visit, why not go to Portmerion, this is the village where 'The Prisoner' TV series was filmed. For the more energetic, the Snowdonia mountain range is waiting to be climbed!! Bring your bikes with you, the roads are quiet and there are plenty of safe places for the children to ride (with parents). The beach stretches for miles, children will love looking in the rock pools and playing hide and seek in the sand dunes.
