Situated at the edge of the sand dunes is the spacious beach bungalow. Sleeping up to 6 adults and 2 children it has views to the Mendips at the front and the sea views to the rear. It is tastefully decorated and furnished with all the modern conveniences you would expect to find ... and perhaps a few more. In addition to the three bedrooms there is a lounge, kitchen, bathroom, en suite and a large conservatory to the rear. It is well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, garden furniture and parking for 4 cars. You can relax watching the sun rise over the Mendip Hills and watch the sun set over the sea.

A lovely home away from home!

We had a super week in this lovely bungalow. It was clean and spacious and had everything we wanted in easy reach - beach, shop, pub, places to eat and places to visit.
The weather was kind to us and obviously acting on an earlier review, there were steps leading from the garden down onto the beach which was fantastic for us as my daughter loves body boarding and the easy access to the beach made this a breeze! The bungalow is great for the disabled but the beach access may still a little awkward for some.
The beach is great - nice firm sand for lots of cricket, football, sand sculptures etc.
The owner kept in touch throughout the booking process and the hand over of keys was easy.
We would have no hesitation in booking again and hope to visit again soon!

As a family with 2 small children (6 & 3) an elderley father in law and a small aged dog we could not of asked for much better (apart from the weather of course).

The house is looked after very well and well presented. The location is superb, literally end of garden onto beach (6 miles of fab sand) a great family pub across the street (also dog friendly) with good food and a kids play area.

Even though the weather was not very kind to us there is plenty to do with farms, parks and local attractions aswell as Burnham on sea having a cinema. Wookey hole and Cheddar are short journeys away and also Clarks Village for some retail therapy.

A great sellection of supermarkets in Burnham and Bunnies for emergency supplies. You do need a car though if you cannot stay on the beach each day, although there is a local bus which goes between West super mare and Highbridge.

We thouroughly enjoyed it and for me I most enjoyed the conservatory at the back of the house to relax and listen to the rain and wind or nod off in the heat when the sun came out. Also to watch the hubby doing the BBQ.

Family Fun in Brean

The location suited us perfectly being unspoilt by arcades, gift shops and fast food outlets. There is everything you need locally if you look for it. Well equipped mini stores for fresh food and groceries just a short walk across road, a couple of pubs with a good selection of meals etc. The bungalow itself, for us, was all we required for a family holiday with children from 3 years to 16 years, with 2 in between of 5 and 11. Clean, comfortable and well equipped and extremely spacious. This holiday home I would recommend to families that just want to get away to a most beautiful beach for a bucket and spade holiday. No razzamataz, just old fashioned fun in clean friendly and relaxing surroundings. Plenty of interesting walks too. If arcade fun and rides are required then the Leisure Park is only a short distance away. Great communications with the owner and nothing has been overlooked. The only downside for me personally as I have slight difficulty with walking was the lack of steps leading down from the garden and onto the beach, but even that has been addressed by the owner who assures me some steps will be in place ready for our next visit.
