This self-catering 2 bedroom luxury villa on a plot of 6 blue shuttered, white washed villas with sunbathing roof terrace is on plot of only 6 in traditional Cretan style with a large (15m x 5m) shared pool. they are near the Arsani monastery They are perfectly placed for the quietest holiday but close to all amenities. Two double bedrooms with queen size beds sleep four in comfort. Fully fitted kitchen with granite worktop. dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, oven, hob, table and chairs. The luxury lounge (3m x 5.5m) has flat screen TV and DVD/CD player TV shows English news and films. Games and books available. Shower room has toilet, sink and washing machine. Both bedrooms have A/C. Hair-dryer, bed linen and towels supplied. French doors lead to a completely private patio. From the front door there is a patio with table and chairs and uninterrupted views of olive groves. There is a panoramic roof terrace for sunbathing.

Nearest Airport: Heraklion at 70 Kilometres
Nearest Ferry: Rethymno at 12 Kilometres
Nearest Beach: beach at 1 Kilometres

The villas are situated in a traditional Cretan village in the centre of the island. They are just 1 hours drive from each of the islands main 2 airports. 5 mins drive from supermarkets and a number of unspoilt sandy beaches. Rethymno has a Venetian fortress, a long sandy beach which is 20 mins away. Places to visit include the Melidoni cave, Fodele which is the birth place of el Greco, the resort of Bali, Margarita the Cretan pottery making village. The Arkadi monastery and even the south coast resort of Agia Galini is only 1 hours drive away.

Notes: This is a perfect holiday for families and couples as it is sometimes difficult to get a reasonable priced villa for 4 people. The front garden is scented with jasmine, rosemary, sage, lavender and bougainvillea. We feel that it is good to find somewhere that is luxury self-catering but is on a small plot, with some of lifes luxuries and necessities included! We provide a welcome pack and transfers can be arranged if required. no smoking

We stayed at the property for 10 days in mid September 08. Property was spotless and everything was as advertised. Carol and fred were very helpful pre-booking efficiently and quickly answering any queries. Excellent directions to the property were emailed.

We would recommend a bottle of wine and sitting on the roof staring skyward watching the sun set and the stars twinkle.

A perfectly quiet location with a 10 minute drive you are in the mountains or the town depending which way you turn out of the property.

Lovely snorkelling bays and beaches particularly on the south side of the island.

A car is a requirement. Brilliant value for money.

Superb villa in Crete - great price

The villa was absolutely perfect for our needs. Everything was new and if we had any queries, the owners, Fred and Carol were very attentive. They gave us hints and tips on where to go and what to see. Only 3 of the 6 villas were occupied and so at times we had the pool to ourselves, which was fantastic, but we also had the bonus of some company at other times. You need a car to get about, but you are only minutes away from shops and bars.The property was spotless and towels and bed linen changed twice a week. I'd recommend the villa to my friends. I hope that Fred and Carol have success with the renting of their two villas.
