This charming property, Mas St André, dating from 18th century and completely restored, is a lovely comfortable family home surrounded by 12 acres of beautiful grounds and lying in the unspoilt countryside just outside Goudargues in the Ceze river valley. Large and spacious, it is ideal for sharing as a family. Beautifully tendered grounds with complete privacy surround the property which has extremely good outdoor living facilities. Large sun terraces surround the pool, 6 x 10 mts, alarm, installed with comfortable loungers, plus a large summer dining terrace for meals under the stars in the long summer evenings. Another patio terrace dining room is shaded for lunches and has a built in BBQ. The Mas is very well equipped and well maintained.

The Mas St André is an ideal base for exploring our beautiful region; Nîmes and Avignon are at just an hour drive, a little further on is the wild Camargue and the sandy beaches near Montpellier. The magnificent 'Cévennes' mountains are to the west providing wonderful walks amongst the chestnut forests. Nearer to hand are the 'Gorges de l'Ardèche', the 'Pont du Gard', and UZES Renaissance city, with its beautiful market, a real pleasure for the eyes and the 'perfumes of Provence' herbs, cheese, fruit, vegetables, olives, etc... Wine lovers will be impressed by the choice of cellars to visit; all the well known 'Côtes du Rhône' as well as discovering the local 'Vins de Pays'.

Shopping

All shopping can be done at 4kms in the local pretty village of Goudargues which has a weekly market plus supermarket , bakers, butchers and a good choice of waterside restaurants. Hypermarkets can be found in Bagnols sur Ceze, 15 mins drive. Fresh produce can be found also in local farms plus daily markets in neighbourng villages.

Activities

Local activities include walking and swimming and canoeing in the Ceze or Ardece rivers. A horse riding center can be found nearby and bikes can be hired locally. Plenty of sightseeing to be done in Uzes, Avignon and Uzes plus all the local , unspoilt scenery and hilltop villages.
