Sun Villa is the ideal setting for a great family holiday. Its spacious accommodation is fully air-conditioned. Downstairs is a large open plan living area with satellite TV and DVD/CD player, plus shower-room. The kitchen is fully equipped with a large fridge-freezer, stove and dishwasher. Up the marble stairs are 3 bedrooms, 2 with balconies overlooking the pool and bay, and 2 extra bathrooms, 1 en-suite and 1 with washing machine. Outside there is a lovely covered terrace with a teak table and chairs, perfect for eating, relaxing and enjoying the wonderful sea views. The villa has a pretty private garden with a BBQ, parking, and a range of bougainvillea, oleander and hibiscus plants plus a banana tree. The garden overlooks the large swimming pool which is shared with the other 9 houses on this peaceful little complex built in an ancient olive grove. All bed linen, bath and beach towels are provided. 30 minutes from Bodrum airport, 15 minutes golf. Local beach won blue flag in 2008.

Beaches, restaurants and shops are a short stroll, so a car is not essential. The sea is 200m away, with a handful of pretty local restaurants right on the water’s edge with jetties for sunbathing and dining. A 15 min stroll around the bay brings you to the heart of the fishing village of Gundogan. The village has a wide range of waterside restaurants, 2 beaches, a harbour, and supermarket. On the bay you can enjoy a wide variety of water sports including wind surfing, dinghy sailing, diving, pedalloes, fishing, swimming, snorkelling and daily boat trips. There is a new golf course 15 mins drive away and local horse riding The village is on the north shore of the Bodrum peninsula on Turkey’s beautiful Aegean coast. The airport is only a 35 min drive away. A car is recommended to explore the many pretty fishing villages and beaches in the area, and to visit Bodrum with its castle, amphitheatre, water park and marina. There are many ancient sites to visit including Roman city of Ephesus

The windows and balcony doors all have fitted mosquito screens. The front 2 bedrooms have beautiful views of the bay, the master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. A travel cot is provided for your use.

thank you for a wonderful, relaxing holiday in a beautiful villa which was tasteful, clean and had everything we needed and more! our teenage boys had a great time in the pool and also trying out all the water sports in the bay. we really enjoyed sitting on the covered terrace having a glass of our wine with our barbecue! the local restaurants were excellent too and there was so much to visit further afield. the weather was perfect and the view glorious day and night. One of our best family holidays!

Even better than it looks!

This villa was superb and lived up to the photographs and reviews. It was clean, quiet, private and spacious. There was plenty of room between the villas. The complex was an oasis of calm and had exotic trees and flowers around the pool and in the gardens. In addition, care had been taken in equipping the villa well - the fridge was huge, the kitchenware was good quality, there was a teapot and so on. There was an English agent and Turkish caretaker who were very competent and helpful sorting out any problems we had quickly and efficiently. Although it is possible to walk into town or catch a dolmus, I strongly recommend hiring a car (we didn't and regretted it) as it is too far to carry water, beach bags etc in the heat. We are an active family and enjoy walking and using public transport when abroad, but in this case we were wrong. If you book a car through the owner/agent it is very reasonable, but do so in advance if you are travelling high season as there were none left for us!

Sunny family holiday !

We had a very enjoyable two-weeks stay. The area, although clearly a tourist spot, turned out to be quite pleasant and suprisingly less overcrowded than we expected. Beaches and all amenities are all within walking distance, but we would strongly recommend a car if you come with young children. The house is really comfortable and clean, the garden is great with a sumptuous view (perfect for a drink in the evening) and so is the pool in the residence (never overcrowded either - at least during our stay).

An excellent villa, well equipped and with a lovely pool. The local restaurants in the bay were good. Would especially suit an active family who like water sports such as snorkelling and wind surfing. I think a car would be essential though. The villa was well supported by friendly pool attendant/gardener and local agent. Minor problems were quickly sorted. We very much enjoyed our holiday!

We stayed in Sun Villa in May/June 2006 and very much enjoyed it. The villa is beautifully decorated and very well equipped.We enjoyed eating outside (with a sea view!) or lying by the pool. There are coastal restaurants within walking distance and Bodrum is a relatively short drive away. It was an ideal holiday venue for a family.
