Kournas Beach is the best place for quiet holidays with family or friends. Located at the north coast of Crete, close to the small sea-side resort of Georgioupoli, between Chania and Rethymno, 300 meters from a long sand beach and 2 km from the Kournas Lake, this new development (2007), has lovely view to the Leuka Ori mountains and to the Agean sea. In this development we rent a house with pool for 2 - 5 people.

The house is located at the north coast of Crete, between Chania (35 km) and Rethymno (20 km), in a new development (2007), only 300 meters from the long sand beach of Georgioupoli and 2 km from Kournas Lake. The place is ideal if you want to spend quiet holidays and to profit at the same time from the touristic activities offered in the sea-side-resort Georgioupoli, where you can also find many restaurants and shops. The public busses which enable to drive through whole Crete stop 200 meters from the house. Georgioupoli is the best home port if you want to make tours in the North, South, West and Centre of Crete. Sightseeing in the area (examples): Chania and Rethymno (especially the beautyful old towns), Kournas Lake, the gorge of Samaria, the beach of Elafonissi, the Monastery of Arkadi, the Monastery and the beach of Preveli, the castle and the beach of Frangokastello, and so many typical little villages.
