The new, fully equiped kitchen comprises a large automatic oven, microwave, full sized fridge-freezer, toaster & blender and all necessary utensils. The refurbished bathroom includes a jacuzzi bath and shower over. The property features two balconies a large one looking over the swimming pool and a smaller one looking over the fourth hole of the golf course. Located in 70 acres of breathtaking tropical surroundings, available all year, the apartment is ideal for a relaxing self catering Caribbean holiday and also perfect for the golfer or tennis player, whilst being close enough to all of the amenities that both St. Lawrence Gap and Bridgetown have to offer.

This apartment is located in the beautiful Bushy Park cluster of Rockley Resort, set in 70 acres of tropical park land and overlooks the swimming pool and golf course. Rockley resort includes a 9 hole (18 tee) par 35 golf course, with its own professionally staffed pro shop, bar and restaurant. Golf clubs,pull trolleys and Club carts are available to hire. Also on site are 5 Tennis courts and a taxi rank. Within a 10 minute walk you will find the beautiful sandy beach of Rockley, a large fully stocked super market with fresh and frozen produce (who provide a free shuttle service back to your apartment), an International Bank, Post office and 24hr Petrol station which also has a food shop inside. The vibrant and cosmopolitan St Lawrence Gap area providing many bars, restaurants, and clubs is also walk able or a short taxi or bus ride away. The capital Bridgetown is 20 minuets up the coast.

I stayed at the apartment in early April 2008 and adored it. It is everything you dream of on a rainy day in England - a pretty apartment covered in bougainvillea, set on the edge of a lush and green golf course, ten steps from a swimming pool, all the facilities you need to be happy and it feels really safe.

> The most beautiful beach on the island (Accra Beach) is only a short walk away, getting to all the best places doesn't take long and I found the taxi drivers honest and friendly (Rockley Country Club has its own taxi rank where the drivers are known to the girls who manage the apartment). I can't tell you how perfect the beach is! Pale turquoise sea, really clean white sand, a few waves to keep the sea feeling fresh but calm enough to swim and the people there are a good mix of local families and tourists.

> For lunch I usually went to Champers overhanging the sea on the beach or grabbed some jerk chicken, beans and rice at Just Grillin' across the road. At night its only a five minute drive to the famous "Gap" with its restaurents and lively bars but my favourite place for dinner was Oistins fish market where you can have dishes like fresh lobster with garlic butter from a variety of stalls while locals and tourists of all ages dance to an enormous sound system.

> You can't help but relax in Barbados and the apartment reflects this - everything works, the setting is gorgeous, the pool is quiet and feels very private and the girls who manage the property and the cleaner couldn't be more helpful. I've travelled a lot and usually always try to go somewhere new but Barbados and this apartment are magical and I hope I will be lucky enough to go back many times.
