In the most exclusive area of Venice, Dorsoduro, between Gran Canal and Canale della Giudecca. Even if it is right in the heart of Venice (5 minutes away from Accademia, 15 minutes away from Rialto/Piazza S. Marco), it is not well known by the tourists and you can still live the authentic Venician atmosphere. All the apartments face a beautiful canal (Rio Ognissanti nearby the Sguero, the place in Venice where they still make 'gondole' in the traditional way) and a bridge well known for artists which, if you are lucky, you will be able to watch them at work. You can easily reach the boat (vaporetto) stops 'Zattere' or 'Accademia' in 3/5 minutes walking distance. The vaporetti go to the train station, to the lido (sea), S. Marco, Rialto, etc. In 2/3 minutes walking distance you can reach the boat stop of ALILAGUNA Line connecting you directly with Marco Polo Airport. Near the house (five minutes walking) there is a big supermarket where you can find all the food you need.

Very nice and sun-lighted studio. Two windows facing on a beautiful canal. Air conditioned, there is a brand new big flat LCD TV 32'' (Samsung) with satellite (it is possible to see televisions broadcast from all over the world: American, French, English, Deutsche, etc. ...)

The neighborhood is very quiet, and close to everything: there are museum (Accademia, Cà Rezzonico, Palazzo Grassi, Peggy Guggenheim, etc. ...), typical venetian restaurants (Quattro Ferri, La Bitta, Locanda Montin, Casin de Nobili, Ae Oche, agli Alboretti, etc. ...), curiosities, stores, supermarket (Billa), places for drinking good wine (an 'ombra' or a 'spritz') and eat a 'cicchetto' (Cantinone, il baretto alle Zattere, etc. ...); vaporetto is 2 minutes walking and you can easily reach Rialto or San Marco (in 10 minutes) or the beach (Lido di Venezia, in 20 minutes). In the Lido is possible to swim, rent a boat, a bycicle, an horse, playing golf or you can see the international cinema festival with movie stars from all over the world (end of August first days of September).

Convenient,clean and bright apartment,located on a quiet canal within a hundred steps of a Vaporetto in the Dorsoduro district of Venice. Cafes, restaurants,shops and the Accademia Art Museum are only minutes away.The compact kitchette is great for keeping cold drinks, or making the first espresso of the day. This apartment is great for an single person having an extended stay in Venice or a holiday for a couple.

well located studio apartment, fab view from window, within easy walking distance of vaporettos, good restaurants, well-stocked local mini supermarket. Great for a short break, and so much better value than a hotel

We spent 5 very enjoyable days in the apartment - everything was well organised by the owner, Andrea, the meeting with his local representative who took us to the apartment went very well. The apartment itself was excellent value for money and was positioned overlooking a small canal in a very quiet district only 15 minutes walk from St. Marks Square and 400 metres from the nearest water bus stop. If we return to Venice we would have no hesitation in staying there again and I would certainly recommend it, not only to our friends, but to anyone thinking of staying in Venice.
