Wine routes and others - a lazy drive will take you to the world renowned wine routes of Stellenbosch and Franschoek and a short distance further to Paarl and Wellington which are famous for their dried fruit and wines. Ten minutes from Gordons Bay is the Helderberg Wine Route and brewery and across Sir Lowry's Pass the fruit route at Elgin and Grabouw. The village is on the scenic coastal route to Hermanus and the whale route, and during Sept/Oct whales can be seen frolicking in False Bay. Gordons Bay is famous for its safe bathing and fishing from the rocks is a favourite pastime of both locals and visitors. Pleasure trips on luxury yachts and cruisers are available from the two harbours and Steenbras Dam is sought after as a picnic spot. Other highlights include a visit to Table Mountain, Bo Kaap, District Six, Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, Robben Island, and the Cape Peninsula.

Balance to be paid 30 days prior to occupation date. 25% cancellation fee if cancelled 21-30 days before occupation date. 50% cancellation fee if cancelled 14-20 days before occupation date. 75% cancellation fee if cancelled 7-13 days before occupation date. 100% cancellation fee if cancelled 0-6 days before occupation date. An R800 (Rand) breakage deposit is payable locally on arrival but is refunded (less breakages if any) after departure. Your R350 end of stay cleaning fee is to be paid on arrival. Extra cleaning can be arranged at extra cost.

This property is brand new, and was furnished during February and March 2008. The furnishings are new and comfortable...we would want no less, as we use the apartment for ourselves too!

Orientation

The apartment has the benefit of mountain views from the living area and main bedroom, and a seaview from the front door - so you can see what the waves look like before heading to the beach! The sun rises into the living area and main bedroom; the apartment has the benefit of direct sunshine for the whole morning and early afternoon.
