Both coursess are within easy reach of Casa Margarita.
Surfing on Lanzarote:
A haven for European surfers who would otherwise have to travel much further than Lanzarote to find a wave, there are plently of surf schools and tuition at beginner, mid - range and competition levels.
Equipment can be hired and the new fashion - kite surfing - is very popular here too. The Atlantic swell and prevailing North Easterly breezes that brush the Canaries help Lanzarote to become the place to be if you like the surf.
Horseriding or Cycling:
'Centro Hipico Mosta' is our local riding stable where the owners also teach western saddle riding. Trekking for experienced riders is also available. Alternatively 'Lanzaroteacaballou' have excellent riding facilites - Se their website.
Cyclists flock to Lanzarote in the winter months - particularly road racers who use the benefits of Lanzarote's mild and predominately dry climate and superb recently improved smooth tarmac on which to train during winter months.
All cyclists are welcome at Casa Margarita and a large, secure garage is available within which to store bikes when required. There are a number of challenging cycle routes on the island where even the best can be seen fighting up steep gradients and flying down long winding decents.
Many reports of how good the off-roading is for mountain bikers reach our ears and the several bike shops on the island are able to point the way to the best places - they will also provide bikes for hire if required.
Other Activities:
Hang gliding is also very popular
