Holiday getaway or pied a terre for working visits to London. Suits single, 2 couples or 1 child family. The flat (35msq) is a recent addition to the house below and incorporates modern appliances for self contained living including:- fully equipped kitchen (fridge, microwave, gas stove and oven); bathroom (wet room with shower and steamer unit); desk area (full internet access); living/dining area (dining table and chairs); outside deck for sunset dining (3.6m x 2.5m). The bedroom area is set into the rear of the studio and offers privacy from the separate living/kitchen area which has a comfy double sofa bed. The studio is very bright and has views of both the sun rise and the sunsets. London can be dull and grey but only rarely in this flat. Access is via an external spiral staircase from a courtyard garden. 10 minutes stroll from Finsbury Park tube. 15 minutes by tube to central London/the City (Victoria Line or Finsbury Park/Crouch Hill rail)

Additional information about rental rates

  • Standard rental rates (£455 per 7 nights) are for up to 2 persons sharing a bed. Additional persons (or for an additional bed where two people require separate beds), a surcharge of £15 per person/bedding per night applies. A deposit of £100 is required to cover any breakages and non-standard cleaning. The flat should be left in the condition in which it is presented and non-standard cleaning means more than 45 minutes of cleaning to return the flat to the condition it was presented in.
  • Laundry washes for £5 a load.
  • Payment is in advance. You will be invoiced by Paypal for up to the full amount if less than 1 weeks. i.e.Full Payment in advance for periods shorter than 1 week. For longer periods an advance part payment of approximately 1/2 the full cost confirms the booking and reserves the apartment. Payment should be by Paypal or by debit card. With debit cards, the Paypal commission (3.4%) should be paid by the tenant.

Landlord assistance: The landlord is easily contactable. He or an agent will be available by mobile phone and happy to assist with any booking requests or day to day tenant need to the best of their abilities.

Access to the Property: Access to the flat is via an entrance from the street into a courtyard garden shared with the flat below. Access to the top floor apartment is via an external spiral staircase for the renter's exclusive use. The spiral staircase takes you to a lovely terrace and entry to the flat is through an entrance door off the terrace

Enjoy London: The flat offers a hassle free and easy base for enjoying London for a long weekend or a pied a terre to stay while working in the City. The West end is only 30 minutes away door to door and the City the same. Finsbury Park has enough amenities and open spaces to enjoy a weekend in the area and the flat is pleasant to spend time in - sun all day long and beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The nightlife attractions of Shoreditch, the East End and the West End are easily reached by public transport or taxi (approx. £18 by black cab). Most Central London attractions and transport links (museums, theatres, landmarks) are well connected via bus lines and the Picadilly and Victoria tube lines.

Lovely apartment, equiped with everything you need for short or long term stay in residential London. Transport to and from the city was easy but a little time consuming but expected for the area. Good selection of shops nearby and overall would recommend to anyone.
Owner's Response: To clarify: Travel times* by tube from Finsbury Park station to key destinations are as follows:- Kings Cross (8 mins); Oxford Circus (13 mins); Victoria (16 mins); Leicester Square (16 min); Piccadilly Circus (18 minutes); Hyde Park (21 mins); Knightsbridge (21 mins); Liverpool Street (26 mins by tube or 12 minutes by train); Paddington (26 minutes) (*all times independently cited). The flat is a 10 minute walk from the station or 4 minutes by bike (a bike is available on request). There is a 24 hour bus route from the end of the road to Kings X and Trafalgar Square (25 minutes every 7 minutes during day). More information on transport links and routes will be provided upon enquiry.

It was a pleasure to spend London holidays at this flat. Very close to the central London, Camden town; good transport connections (buses,inclouding night route, tube). The area of North-East London gives a very authentic feeling of the city; this place will be appreciated by those who are looking for something more beyond the traditional tourism.
The flat itself is very nice, originally designed, with an upper floor terrace and a great view from it.
Agent Max was very nice and helpful, thanks for the stay. Next time when in London we will stay there again :)

A great Place to stay

My Son and his friend obtained a work placement in London, as they were both only 19 I was very concerned about booking the right accommodation. No need to have worried! They stayed for 2 weeks at the penthouse and loved every minute they were there.It was very clean and well equipped. The Flat had everything you could possible need. The owner was a great help and support to the boys. I would highly recommend this flat. Everthing was perfect.

I spent almost four weeks in this cozy, beautiful flat which felt like home from the very first minute. The host, who lives downstairs, was very supportive and tried to make the stay as convenient as possible (even flowers were there at the first day). It is a perfect place for a longer professional stay, offering working facilities (wlan, desk, et al.) which you wouldn't find in a Bed & Breakfast. But also for short term I would always recommend it as it is placed very quiet but central. The area is a very normal one, which I found very relaxing after days of tourist sight seeing.
So in short, when visiting London again I would always and definitely come back.
