Detached sympathetically restored stone built traditional Somerset building set in a wonderful English cottage garden. Secluded yet close to Bath Wells and the Mendip Hills, Accommodation - very big double bedroom plus double sofa bed. Large walk in shower. Oil filled radiators well appointed lounge with TV and DVD player. Internet access fitted kitchen and separate dining room .Lots of original art. Well behaved pets welcome. Good pubs nearby. Nearest town Frome - interesting shops supermarkets & restaurants. Close too many beautiful walks, unspoilt countryside and the historic village of Mells. Other places of interest include Longleat,'Cheddar Gorge, and Salisbury- ideally located for all of the West Country, This really is a unique property.

A great place (romantic,very well furnished etc.) and it's owner Roy Avis is very helpfull in advising what good trips you can make to see interesting things around Upper Vobster.

Best chrismas ever

We decide to spend xmas away with our 2 cocker spaniels and decided on bath.On arrival we were met by Roy the owner of cottage who made us feel well at home and even helped us in with our luggage(mostly presents) nothing was two much trouble the cottage was perfect snug and warm we settled in straight away beatifull garden for the dogs to run around in and great walks 2 seconds away.There is great places to visit longleat about 7 miles away shopping not far.Local pub very friendly good food.But the thing that made this holiday so great was the owners Mo & Roy and there great black lab Huxley we spent many a night together putting the world to rights and great walks together with the dogs.Nothing was to much trouble and we have made new friends for life.So much so we have booked to back in April can not wait.I feel slightly bad about reccomending it so highly as we would love to keep it all to ourselves,But whoever goes will get great welcome and a wonderfull holiday,Thanks Mo & Roy and of course Hux see you soon.
