Local Area:
The Fuengirola suburb of Torreblanca is only 20 minutes drive from Malaga airport, and has the advantage of being serviced by the Malaga to Fuengirola train, making travelling to your accomodation even easier. Fuengirola Hills is only a very short taxi drive from the Torreblanca train station.
Fuengirola is ideally located, providing easy access to all the popular resorts in the area - Marbella, Puerto Banus and Benalmadena with their fabulous marinas, excellent restaurants, trendy boutiques and exciting nightlife are all within easy reach. Closer to Fuengirola Hills is the beautiful ‘white village’ of Mijas—a must for all visitors. No fewer than 10 golf courses are within a 15 minute drive of the apartment.
Benalmadena, Cabopino, Marbella and Puerto Banus are all famous for their attractive marinas, and prove to be perfect settings for an evening stroll - maybe with some tapas and a glass of Rioja?
Attractions:
Anyone familiar with this area of the Costa del Sol will no doubt be aware of the myriad of activities available for perfect holiday enjoyment. Aside from the obvious large choice of golf courses, the area is blessed with some excellent beaches and marinas. Here you can water-ski, fish, scuba dive or merely take a cooling dip in the sea.
Malaga of course is home to one os Spain's favourite sons - Pablo Picasso.
Here you can visit the fabulous museum and his birthplace.
Seville, Cordoba and Granada are stunningly beautiful cities to visit, steeped in history and beautiful architecture. Close to Granada of course is the Sierra Nevada, reachable Torreblanca in 2 hours, by an excellent road. It is possible to be on the slopes in the morning and return to the Coast to enjoy the afternoon sunshine on the beach!
There are ample attractions to keep the younger members of your group happy. Fuengirola Zoo and Aquapark, Selwo Marina and Tivoli World will provide endless hours of fun.
