Many other excellent beaches just a short 15 mins drive away including Puerto Rey, Garrucha and Mojacar all with lifeguards and beach bars in summer months. Park- the Cabo de Gata National park with many beautiful hidden coves is 45 minutes away by car. Vera Aqua Water Park is 2 mins by car. Golf- Courses within 15 mins drive: Desert Springs 18 hole, Marina Golf 18 hole, Valle de Este 18 hole, Cortijo Grande 9 hole. Towns - Vera offers lots of shops/restaurants local markets on Saturdays and a bull ring 5 mins by car. Mojacar offers lots of bars and great restaurants 15 mins by car. The busy fishing town of Garrucha with its marina and promenade and lots of fish restaurants 10 mins by car. Local: Supermarket 30 mins walk (5 mins by car). Several restaurants from Chinese, Indian, Spanish, and Argentinian Steaks all within close reach.
