Lovely & quiet designer's apartment in Le Marais.
Recently refurbished to the highest standard with lots of charm, this apartment will delight you with its open-plan living room and kitchen with bar. It is cosily furnished with its modern design fused with traditional old Parisian style and it is situated in a quiet courtyard with lots of light (unfortunately pictures were taken at night so you can't appreciate it on the ones shown!). It can comfortably sleep 4 people with its double bedroom and comfortable sofa-bed (with real slated bed-base, not the usual folding and squeaky one !). The kitchen is modern and spacious and the appartment has all needed amenities (TV, DVD, internet, stereo) if you want to spend a bit of time lounging/ cooking at home or resting after a busy day!

The apartement is located in the heart of Paris, nearby main attractions: Notre-Dame & Ile de la Cite, Beaubourg, Place des Vosges. Two different tube stations are just a few minutes away, taking you to any area in Paris in 15-30 minutes max. (including La Defense). Local shops and organic supermarket are just around the corner. The area is one of the oldest and most picturesque of Paris with its small streets, ancient buildings, small 'Hotel Particuliers' and still local life. It is quiet in the most adjacent streets, but you'll find plenty of restaurants, bars, cinemas a few minutes away by foot near Beaubourg or in the heart of Le Marais. And great shopping is just a few minutes away, whether you like big department stores like BHV or Samaritaine or small boutiques in rue des Francs-Bourgeois, you'll definitely find something to fit your needs in the area. Whether for business or tourism, you'll find this area extremely convenient and will experiment the real Parisian life!

Staying here was far better than in an hotel. The apartment was amazingly well equipped with amenities even beyond everything mentioned on the website. It definitely felt like home for the duration of our trip to Paris. Location is ideal -- quiet neighborhood, most big attractions are a short metro ride away (two museums are within walking distance). There are so many little cafes and bakeries and even multiple supermarkets (including an organic one) that we would just pick a different direction each time we set out. It was great having the kitchen and washer/dryer there, and I was pleasantly surprised at how well the hairdryer worked (I am spoiled and have a professional quality one at home). I even liked one of the CDs so much I had to buy my own copy. The owner was helpful and friendly during coordination of the visit, and I have no complaints whatsoever!
