Beautiful masseria in Otranto with pool.

The house is original Salentino Palazzo dating 1762 with all vaulted rooms and 4 big chimneys. There are 2 Arab style courtyards, one with a pool. The house has maintained original material and floors but the owners have added a lot of their taste and good comfort. A guest house has been added on the other side of the main courtyard, beautifully restored by a Milanese architect. The old Palazzo includes a big kitchen with fireplace, 3 bedrooms and one bathroom in the main floor and 3 bedrooms and one bathroom on the first floor, which also has a very large terrace. Each room has double beds. In the Guest house there is a loft style kitchen/living room, chimney, 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. There are many art pieces in the house that belong to the private collection of the owners. The house is fully equipped and most of the furniture and ceramics come from local crafts.

Rental rates for the villa in Italy

Notes to the rental rates

• If people rent for 2 weeks there will be a discount of 15%. Any day changeover apart from July & August which are Saturdays only. There is a deposit cheque of €3000 to be given at the beginning of the stay and will be returned at the end if there have been no damages to the house. Time of check in: 3p.m. Time of check out: 10a.m. In lower season these hours can be more flexible.
  During the winter period there will be an extra charge for the heating.
  There is the possibility to rent only the Guest House with 3 rooms and 3 bathrooms and the large kitchen/living with a fireplace and have private use of the pool and the courtyard with the huge palm tree. The price will be discussed with the owner but it is less than half the price of the whole property.
  
• The rent should be paid in two instalments. The first one is of 40% of the rent. The first instalment is due within 10 days of the issuing of the confirmation of rental done by email and the second one is due three weeks before the beginning of the let. In case of rentals entered into within 40 days of the beginning of the let, the whole sum is due at the time of reservation.
  
• Final cleaning is not included in the rent. You must pay 300 Euros at your arrival. On departure the house and its contents should be left in a tidy state. Tableware should be washed and the refrigerator and any dishwasher emptied. The grills should also be washed and put in place.

We have other properties in the same town of Giurdignano for smaller groups. 1. It is a nice modern masseria style house with a very big pool that can sleep 4 people or 10 people in the summer. There are 2 rooms on the main floor and 3 in the basement which is perfect during the hot summer nights. 2. It is an Orange Tree House that sleeps 6 with no pool. One room in the main floor that goes directly in the courtyard with a beautiful orange tree garden and 2 rooms on the upper level with a nice terrace. Rent part of the property

During off peak season (not July and August) people can rent either only the Old Part (12 people) or only the Guest House (6 people). In both cases they would have exclusive access to the pool area, they will never the pool with other customers. The price will be discussed individually according to the number of people.
