For golfers the nearby famous La Finca golf course is a great excuse to indulge in your favourite sport. Plenty of alternative golf courses are also available within a short drive of this special place to stay.

A short walk from Villa Ann is a modern commercial centre with shops and bars and restaurants. The neighbouring village of Los Montesinos is a mere 5 minutes drive away with pleasant bars and restaurants and a popular Sunday Market. Algorfa is another local traditional Spanish village. You are only 10 miles from the wonderful beaches at Guardamar, with nearby beaches at Campoamor providing even more choice of white sands and warm Mediterranean water. It is only 2 miles from the main AP7 motorway and is also easily reached from either Alicante or Murcia airports. The nearest large town is Torrevieja about 6 miles away. Torrevieja has a water park, go carts, dune buggies, 7 screen cinema, ten pin bowling and a daily market, plus countless bars and restaurants. Nearby Alicante and Murcia are both beautiful cities, whose architecture, museums and chiq boutiques are often overlooked by many visitors to the area.

Villa Ann is mainly on one level (apart from rooftop sun terrace) and positioned in a lovely cul de sac on a well designed development. The private pool has a secure gate for child safely and an outdoor shower. Steps make access to the pool easy for smaller children. The pool veranda employs a retractable shade and is an ideal spot for keeping an eye on little ones in the pool. The pool itself runs from 1m - 2m deep. An outdoor eating area next to the pool is complemented by a rooftop sun terrace, which has stunning views of the surrounding countryside and golf course. Villa Ann is a gated and walled property with secure off road parking and a garage. The additional communal pool on the development is ideal for guests who wish to choose between using their own private pool at Villa Ann or meeting other people.

Guardamar Beach

Guardamar's beaches are composed of the finest white sand and the smell of the pine trees which surrounds them makes for an unforgettable experience. The beaches run for as far as the eye can see and are so large that even in peak season, there are days when they seem almost deserted. Swept during the season on a daily plus basis, the Guardamar beach is possibly one of the best manicured in all Spain.

Golf Information:

La Finca is a short walk or drive from Villa Ann. La Finca, part of the “Villamartin” portfolio, first opened its doors for play in 2002. It is considered by many to be the best golf course on the whole Costa Blanca and has a well deserved reputation with all serious golfers. Superb greens (very tricky and fast) and Bermuda grass fairways combine to a fantastic course. It has challenging holes with a a lot of natural water features and some of the most creative greens you will ever see. The course is always in perfect condition. As a bonus feature, the course has a reserve hole in case one hole is closed. Several lakes with running water & reed beds along the course add beauty & difficulty to the game, making the course the home of a wide variety of migratory water birds, such as ducks & egrets. The interior of the course is home to olive & palm trees, creating a beautiful backdrop of vegetation with a distinctly Mediterranean flavour.
