A stylish, self-catering property in the heart of the peaceful hillside village of Tresnuraghes on the West coast of Sardinia, near the medieval town of Bosa and close to the sea and many other attractions of the region. The house has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and ample living space. Additional beds can be provided for small children. There is a large balcony, a terrace perfect for sunbathing and stargazing at night and a courtyard area with an outdoor shower, ideal for relaxing and al fresco dining. Tresnuraghes has several mini-markets and other shops selling wonderful local food produce as well as a weekly market in the church square, all within 5 minutes walk. There are 2 pizzerias, a bar/ cafe, a nearby trattoria and in Bosa and the surrounding area there are many restaurants. The nearest beach is less than 10 minutes drive and there are miles of unspoilt coastline and beautiful countryside to explore.

Many come to simply relax but if you wish to get out and about you could explore the old town of Bosa or the Catalan town of Alghero. You could enjoy walking, cycling or horse riding in the surrounding countryside. The area also attracts birdwatchers, nature lovers and those interested in the history of the ancient civilizations of Sardinia, evidence of which exists in the form of relics dotted across the island and the Roman/ Phoenecian ruins of Tharros on the Oristano peninsula, also noted for its beaches and wet lands abundant with wildlife. The region is rich in culture, history and tradition The festivals of Bosa are a mark of this; . In February Bosa goes wild for their carnival, on the first Sunday of August there is a boat procession for Santa Maria del Mare down river and in September there are celebrations for Nostra Signora dei Regni Alti, starting with a beautiful procession and followed by food and wine being offered in the streets of the old town by the residents.

I would seriously recommend this house to anyone with a small (or large!) family as it really has everything you need. We stayed here with our 2 small children (aged 4 and 7) and they absolutely adored it. It has been very tastefully restored and had buckets of room, and the outside courtyards were wonderful in the evening. The kitchen is extremely well kitted out and it is a true 'home from home', giving you a perfect base from which to explore the surrounding areas. If you are thinking about staying in this area then I promise you that you won't be disappointed!

I stayed in this property with my husband, 3 month old daughter, parents and mother in law. It was a great villa - plenty of space for everyone to chill out. It was clean and comfortable! The terrace was a great sun trap and the villa was a cool haven to escape the heat! Toys for my baby made it a perfect home from home! The town is very quiet so we used the car to explore Bosa and Alghero which are beautiful towns well worth a visit.

We loved this villa. Beautifully and stylishly restored, it is much more spacious than the exterior suggests. Comfortable beds, great bed linen, and a well stocked kitchen. We spent one week here on the West coast, and one week on the NE coast. The West coast wins hands down! Lovely unspoilt villages, beaches much less crowded. Lovely village house in a great area.
