Self-catering property in peaceful village setting, sleeps 6+

Stylish property in the heart of the peaceful hillside village of Tresnuraghes on the West coast of Sardinia, close to the medieval town of Bosa & beaches.

The house has been renovated to a high standard and has 3 bedrooms with luxuriously large and comfortable beds, 3 bathrooms ( including 1 ensuite & 2 with full size baths), living room, dining room, courtyard, roof terrace & large balcony. The house is equipped with satellite tv /dvd/ stereo as well as lots of beach equipment & toys/ paddling pool for children. Bedrooms can be arranged as double or twin rooms & additional children's beds/cots provided along with high chair & safety gate. The roof terrace is perfect for sunbathing & stargazing & the courtyard area with an outdoor shower wonderful for relaxing & al fresco dining and has barbecue. For cooler months there is an open fire with firewood provided & heaters in each of the bedrooms & living room. Dishwasher, washing machine, hairdryer, air-conditioning included.

1 hr from Alghero Airport & 15 mins from Bosa Town, Tresnuraghes has mini-markets & shops selling local produce as well as a weekly market. There is a pizzeria/ bar less than 5 mins walk away, a trattoria nearby & in Bosa & surrounding area there are numerous restaurants & aguritismos. The nearest beach is less than 10 mins drive & there are miles of unspoilt coastline & beautiful countryside to explore. Our guests can also access the gardens & swimming pool of a hotel within short walking distance (charges apply). Out and about there is walking, cycling or horse riding or golf in the surrounding countryside and Alghero is less than 1 hr away. The area also attracts nature lovers & those interested in the ancient history of Sardinia, including the nuraghe dotted across the island and the Roman/ Phoenecian ruins of Tharros on the Oristano peninsula, also noted for its beaches & wet lands abundant with wildlife. Just a quick note to say thanks for your directions and local info, you have a beautifully restored house in a lovely village which was enjoyed by all my family. I would seriously recommend this house to anyone with a small (or large!) family as it really has everything you need. We stayed here with our 2 small children (aged 4 and 7) and they absolutely adored it. It has been very tastefully restored and had buckets of room, and the outside courtyards were wonderful in the evening. The kitchen is extremely well kitted out and it is a true 'home from home', giving you a perfect base from which to explore the surrounding areas. If you are thinking about staying in this area then I promise you that you won't be disappointed!

Definitely value for money!!

I stayed in this property with my husband, 3 month old daughter, parents and mother in law. It was a great villa - plenty of space for everyone to chill out. It was clean and comfortable! The terrace was a great sun trap and the villa was a cool haven to escape the heat! Toys for my baby made it a perfect home from home! The town is very quiet so we used the car to explore Bosa and Alghero which are beautiful towns well worth a visit.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Little gem

We loved this villa. Beautifully and stylishly restored, it is much more spacious than the exterior suggests. Comfortable beds, great bed linen, and a well stocked kitchen. We spent one week here on the West coast, and one week on the NE coast. The West coast wins hands down! Lovely unspoilt villages, beaches much less crowded. Lovely village house in a great area.
