Lovely Mountain side House with stunning sea views.

  • Lie in bed and listen to the sea. Watch the whales from the balcony whilst eating breakfast! All our bedrooms have stunning views. The Master is interlinking with the Twin, ideal for young children. The master leads onto the front balcony which has a panoramic and uninterupted view of both mountains and sea. The Music room has an En-Suite and a door leading out into the rear garden. The Moroccan room doubles as a studio and is downstairs off the front Veranda and also has it's own door. Ideal for teenagers! Our beds are new with comfortable mattresses! We provide good quality bed linen with a change of bedding included where necessary.

Notes:

Amalfi is built into the Hillside and has 80 steps from road to house. (this makes it both safe and secluded) It therefore is not suitable for the elderly or infirm. We have a wonderful huge, wind free veranda, perfect for al -fresco living, this is furnished with pretty iron furniture. The upstairs balcony has a garden umbrella and chairs and tables .The garden is 'stepped' and is beautifully landscaped with many interesting and exotic plants and palms. Renown as 'one of the best gardens around'. There is a further paved area for entertaining and Barbecues. We have a small fish pond so care needs to be taken with small children. The house is safe with both security bars and security systems. Gated entry system and off street parking, and a garage. Internally Amalfi has clean white walls with modern artwork, original chandeliers and blonde wooden parquet flooring. Maids are available for your stay. Our towels are for house use only. Cable Television is available on demand

You just won't want to leave!

Our guests comment; Amalfi is a super family home from home, set in a stunning location with the most amazing views. The house itself catered very comfortably for the 8 in our party (4 children under 10) and was well kitted out with lots of home comforts. There was plenty information leaflets regarding the surrounding areas, with loads to do. We were more than happy to sit on the terrace and watch the whales in the bay though! Sunset or sunrise I don't think I could ever get fed up of the view. All in all we had an fabulous holiday made that way due to the comfort and homely feel of Amalfi. Thank you! About us

Amalfi is a family home not just a holiday rental house. We have both a local agent who oversees all our bookings to a high standard and also family living in the locality to give any advice or local tourist information. The grounds are carefully tended by our gardener and we ask our guests to feel free to water during hot weather. Gordon is an Architect and I am a teacher, Amalfi is our second home. We live in London with our 2 sons. We all miss Amalfi terribly and keep with us memories of meals on the stoep with friends. Mornings waking to the sun and the sound of the sea.
