Pollensa holiday villa "Can Algarrobas"

We were a group of seven ranging in age from 11 – 92 years which descended on Can Algarrobas during the school holidays this August/September. Can Algarrobas is located in a very quiet and peaceful area and affords complete privacy, yet is only a very short distance from the local supermarket. It is suitable for people with limited mobility, with the terrace/pool area just a step below the villa floor level. A further two bedrooms are a step level above the villa living room level. There are also a very few steps leading up to the villa. The terrace and pool area is very spacious. Beaches, shops and towns are only a short driving distance away. It makes an ideal base for excursions anywhere on the island, especially on local market days.

The villa has all the facilities which you would need and is, obviously, very well looked after and maintained. The local contact, Steve, is very friendly and helpful. He replaced a faulty kitchen unit tube light and a clothes drying rack within 24 hours! All pre-booking inquiries were dealt with quickly by Ruth.

We have no reservations in recommending this villa as a holiday base.

I travelled with my wife and 4 teenage girls. The Villa truly lived up to expectation on arrival. It has a nice lived in feel that we all found very comfortable. It was clean and well presented when we arrived and we all loved the garden and pool area. It has all facilities and convenience that you need for a perfect Sun holiday. Shops, towns and beaches are all nearby but you will need a car. If it satisfied 4 teenagers and also the parents it must be a bit special!

Thoroughly recommend for a visit. I will certainly use the villa again if I return to Mallorca.

I seem to spend half my life trying to find decent villas for family holidays, and generally speaking, they are a disappointment.

Well this is the exception. A truly great location, out of the way, private, quiet...and a stunning villa. We had a great holiday here. In the fortnight we were here we spent a lot of time roving, you'll need a car of course, around the area and loved it.

Pollenca is a gem, so is the beach at Son Sera (thank's for the tip Ruth), lluc is worth a visit, so is the mountain restaurant with the rock pool...the name of which I keep forgetting. We even loved the amazing go-kart track at C'an Picafort!

The villa itself is comfy, without being prissy...everything works. it's well cared for and immaculately cleaned before our arrival (a welcome bonus, since thanks to Easy Jet we were 4 hours delayed). I can recommend this villa without any reservations at all.

The only downside is that you'll be lucky to get it; It now has quite a number of returning guests!
